For any viewer interested, you can just use the cross multiplication method for all these problems, but when you have the denominators like you have at the 7:47 mark it is better and quicker to use the Lcd which was 12 in this situation. Get used to it enough and you can do most if not all of the work in your head. (as example my scrap notes for the equation that had 4 and 6 as the denominator. 3x+3=2x-2. Then next line x=-5.) Also, I always put the "bigger" Variable on the left. So instead of 5w+35=15w+75. I would say 15w is bigger so I rewrite it as 15w+75=5w+35. I do this so that I am NOT left with negative x. True, it won't always be possible to do, but if it is possible it is easier to avoid negative x. (it is easier to have x=? then -x=?. As I said not always possible to do, but makes it easier if you can)
@@mathonify Fair enough. Now is my turn. PLEASE make a whole series on trigonometry. I mean, there is so much stuff that your channel didn't cover. I mean, TRIGONOMETRY! R method, sum and difference formula, laws of sine and cosine. Everybody get a concept, it's not that difficult. What is difficult is solving problems. It would be cool if somebody finally will make a long video(s) with hard, interesting problems covering high school trigonometry (very important prerequisite for Calculus, by the way). System of equations with trigonometric functions. But no, we have 13-minutes trig videos with no new info and videos with kindergarden fractions. Arghhhhh! Damn! You were the chosen one! It was said that you would destroy the Sith, not join them, bring balance to the force, not leave it in Darkness!
You just helped me solve a problem I’ve been working on for 10 hours! I kid you not! I was stumped and desperate. You are a Godsend! You can marry my daughter.
If you have one equation and two unknowns then you cannot solve it. You would need more information. (Also the example you gave is called an “equation”, not an expression. I only say that because it’s actually really useful to know the difference. There is a small quiz on this page to help remember: courses.lumenlearning.com/prealgebra/chapter/identifying-expressions-and-equations/) I hope that helps

Please make an whole series on algebra. You're teaching is really great

Bruh u teach better than my math teacher at school lol
i mis clicked but this is exactly what i needed so thanks!
This is absolutely fantastic x
Good job sir nice work.
U saved my life bro 😭😭😭

very useful!!! can you guys list the 2019 new spec Edexcel pure papers back as u guys unlisted them
Not all heroes wear capes.
So nice
hii i love your videos, i have a question though. what happens if there are different letters in the expressions for example, 5x+1/3 = 3w-3/8

@@mathonify thank you
very good video
thanks
hey good work , but I think on the third equation its supposed to be - 5 n not 5
it's quite t hard
Hello, I have one question about the factory, Can I be able to know how can it be factory out ( X^4+18x^2-81)? Pls let me know the details. Thank you.
Try factoring y^2+18y-81 first. It might help you figure it out
@@mathonify Is it correct? I figured out x(x^3+9)+9(x-9). But I have no idea how to do the next step.
Actually I should have read it more carefully. This equation cannot be factored
@@mathonify Oh, I see. Thank you for your answer.
Can you please do the Churchill edexcel paper 2E thanks 😊😊🙏
I spoke to Churchill a while ago and they said they don’t want their papers on RUclips sorry
What to do if the denominator is x?
the 2nd example
why do sound like a guy from dirt rally 2.0 who says " take a short to the left " or something like that
you have to add 15x not tak e away
cant we just cross multiple
multiply by 6 easier
your solution long
the 3rd example isnt possible as well
good video though
How old are you
