Lowest Common Denominator. It’s the number lowest number they both multiply into. (4 x 3 is 12, 6 x 2 is 12) This is why the numerators of the fractions get multiplied by 3 and 2.
How do you get 12 while 6 and 4 given as a denominator. I think you should multiply both to get 24 as a denominator. It's not even fourier, series. It's just ordinary math. You make it too difficult.
The lowest common multiple of 6 and 4 is 12. It's just ordinary maths. It's not too difficult. If you use 24 you will end up with a common factor of 2 that you need to cancel later on so your answer will not be fully simplified. You may wish to revisit my video on algebraic fractions (operations) if you are finding this too difficult.
I have my exam in a few hours pray for me yall

great explaination thankd
Got me out of a rutt, thank you
Thanks for helping, I’ve gotten better at algebra cause of you😅
What is quadratic factorize? Can someone explain how he turn X^2+3x-4 into (x+4)(x-1) for the last two step on the fourth question.
Thanks so much this is very helpful
For example 4 does it matter if you make the left or right side equal to 0?
your insane, so good at explaining
Glad you think so!
thank you
You're welcome
I dont get example 4
sameee
I cant understand that how 6 And 4 denominator became 12 ??? Please explain

Where’s the times and divides?
Awesome
Thanks, this vid really helped me understand better, although there are still questions that confuse me
TYSMMMM
No problem!!
0:45 isnt it supposed to be 24 instead of 12?
12 is the lowest common multiple. If you do 24 you will need to simply your answer at the end.

Why can’t you cross multiply for the last part of section 2
Can if you like
Thx
Any time
I have maths exam tomorrow...
what did you do to x2 + 3x - 4 to get (x +4) (x + 1)
its (x+4)(x-1)
Can someone actually explain how I'm supposed to remember all of those steps😭😭😭
Thanks
