Binance US doesn't work with Cointracker. You can add the API, but it's not going to sync correctly. Even their CSV export isn't compatible with Cointracker.
I'm preparing my 2020 taxes (as well as form 8949), and I'm having two issues (1) AUD is showing as a gain, even when Contracking says that FIAT will be ignored when calculating taxes. (2) All USDC entries have this warning: "There is no suitable purchase to this sale. Assuming purchase on the same day as sale for $0 USD." Regarding USDC, I'm at a loss, but I don't think if I bought and sold $100 USDC that my gain is $100. If anyone can help on either of these two issues, I'd great appreciate it. The USDC issues in question are Coinbase entries. Also, all of my .api entries are current, so I'm really not sure how to deal with this. Thanks! :-)

Are you sure that it's safe to link your exchange account to coin tracker?
So even if you don’t take out any money from your crypto and it stays in crypto where you’re not spending it do you need to claim that as unrealized gains? Is it necessary to do crypto taxes if you’re not making any money and you’re just making trades and everything seems to be pretty equivocal?

I believe any time you sell or exchange crypto it is considered a taxable event, which they say must be reported in your yearly taxes using form 8949. If you lose money in a trade, you can use that to your tax advantage through tax-loss harvesting, so it works both ways. But please confirm all info with other people as well.
It doesn't work so easily. The APIs are very limited. you have to do manual entries with many of the exchanges particularly for past years. It would be wonderful if it worked like that.

Create a VPN at express VPN. It’s cheap. Tell the VPN you want your location to be Germany. Binance will then let you login since they have banned access from US IP addresses. Then you can get your binance API for your taxes. You are welcome.

the only one I need is kucoin..... and you didn't do kucoin..... and of course im confused LOLOLOLO When im in the "set IP Restriction" it then asks me to input something that I have no clue what its asking me for.....By the way.....your literally the best RUclips guy in the known universe.....the way you talk is 100% perfect
You can add KuCoin to cointracker.io and you should turn off the IP restriction. I have mine connected and it works fine
