Any help with adding Cardano? Shouldn't have a Pubx key on it so I just add my wallet address will not add for some reason. Ada is currently in my ledger.

when adding accounts from your Ledger do you have to add every token as a separate wallet? then they are all there collectively? How do you add Test net wallets is it the same process?

Is it safe to share your xpub with coinstats? are there any safety risk other than privacy?
The only downside is that staked coins aren't shown, but I guess that's by design of the staking protocol. Nothing we can do about that. Awesome video. Thank you.

CoinStats is not a wallet. It just tracks your wallet balances.

Does this make sense to anyone. I tried to withdraw some xlm off of Binance to another wallet. I added the address and memo but it’s stuck in pending. I’ve noticed that in the transaction page on Binance it shows the pending transaction but Binance did not add a TXID though. Is this lost or is it something else. Any ideas would help.

Great video, as usual. Can this deal with coins on different networks in MetaMask or just those on the Ethereum main network?
If you add a MetaMask public address. It will check for any coins you may have on other networks such as polygon or avalanche. It works pretty well that way

No, it's not. CoinStats inky scans the blockchain addresses and can not interact anyhow with them unless your give permission.

I could be wrong but my understanding is it only knows how much you have of various coins. It has no idea what you paid so any profit or loss is not tracked.

I have not really done a deep dive on how it calculates profit and loss. It does appear to give you an "all time" figure up or down. I'm assuming it uses the historical data to determine what price a coin was when you purchased it. However, it has no way of determining the actual price I paid for coins in my wallets. I could have held them in exchanges for months before I transferred them into my wallets. It only know the market price of the coins when they hit my wallet. There also may be overlapping information that would make it's totals inaccurate.
I am more interested in using it as an accurate way to get a real-time value of my current portfolio. It does a great job of gathering data from many sources/wallets together in one place. I would not hold much stock in its ability to track profit and loss for tax purposes. There are other more specialized services for that such as cointracker.io and bitcoin.tax

No, it has no access to the wallets or exchanges. Just read-only for the exchanges. And public addresses for the wallets

I need a safe program that will track my crypto and the profit on each coin that is safe and reliable. I don't keep anything on any exchange, everyhting is kept on my ledger. So i should be able to just connect my ledger? Which is the best tracker app?
Huge weaknes in Coinstats verified by the development team, the app will see transfers as selling. No ETA when this will be fixed
You can manually edit the price of the specific coin to track the prices

Sorry, really not sure about that. The only place you can buy XRP in the US is on Uphold. I don’t know if you have access to Uphold from Canada or not. I believe you can also buy XDC on Uphold as well. You might try KuCoin. It’s an international exchange and you might not be able to use your bank card but you can buy crypto in Canada such as bitcoin and then transfer it to KuCoin to make trades. You can buy both XRP and XDC on KuCoin from there you could withdraw to your ledger wallet.

Kucoin is not legal in Canada. It was permanently banned in June 2022 by the OSC from participating in the Ontario capital markets on non-compliance grounds.
Can't believe it's so hard to buy xdc from Canada
