Yea I have to agree with screaming cherry. Though I applaud them for trying & making this game a bit better than the rest, but it’s still not a redemption arc as it still suffers from repetitive gameplay, overly long cutscenes, and all together just has a god awful story.

@@Fuzed_Basquez not only is the game still not scary and the models are still horrible, but the game just feels more like a joke fest, like I’m pretty sure there’s more comedy than there is horror in it, which is okay for a game, but keep in mind this is a HORROR game
That would be like playing a FNAF game with the lights turned in completely and having the animatronics shout funny catchphrases and puns at you every 5 minutes, that’s what Garten Of Banban is like

I was worried after 6 that the story was flying further away from the rails and towards the ocean. But they subverted my expectations by having this small side mission resolved this quickly. So now I’m genuinely excited for where the story is going now. Not that I wasn’t before anyway lol

I’ve seen this opinion with many content creators that played this game, from what I’ve seen it’s consecutively agreed that this game is alright and barely anyone has said it’s actually bad

@@flameflareonogOne thing? Imo Poppy Playtime is way better than Banban, all of the "problems" are all from the development team and not from the game itself. I'd say if people can like something such as Bendy, then this certainly isn't that bad either.

It's pretty clear that the euphoric brothers have a desire to improve now, and im pretty curious to see where the games go from here. I do hope they continue to improve, and who knows, maybe GoB chapter 9 or 10 could be a genuinely good game?

A possible redemption arc could be formed with this entry, but it just needs some more improvements overall to justify its flaws.
The most shocking part in my opinion is the casting for the alien givaniam thing for some they got actors from other countries for some reason mainly from Japan or china there ticket inspector is sphanish I think the motel guy is Brazilian which is my favourite because I am from Brazil
But I have some questions about the lore Banban survived dadadoo army who could say the queen is still alive the jester could survived (also his ingery is VERY miner) dadadoo could be still be alive this “no characters die” logic in the end if the player gets the children and leaving the door open all the mascots could escape into the outside world and start an apocalypse please someone help me in the replies

Garten of Banban is basically watching game developers go from second game ever and continue to work on improving themselves. It's just they got very popular very quickly early on, so the experience and maturity was not there at all.

While they still have a long way to go, as long as there is progress they might actually make a really good product. I mean Scott Cawthon took years to build up his reputation after constant failure and criticism and now he is one of the most well respected game developers of all time.

I am liking how this series is beginning to find its footing with the passing games. It started out as a culmination of everything wrong with the mascot horror genre-a poorly made, hollow experience that throws in lore to keep attention and makes characters as goofy and merchandisable as possible-to something mildly enjoyable and even a bit of a darker tone now, the Hanging Room definitely gave me the vibe at least.
It gets good at Game 7 I swear

Huh. Y'know, I honestly lost any ounce of hope I had for this series when I saw how GoBB 6. I was not gonna give them a third chance. But, while GoBB 7, to me at least, kinda looks like it tried to copy the Dark Revival's aesthetics a bit too much, yeah, it certainly wasn't as painful as I expected. The drone's new mechanics are a massive step up, even if still very janky, they're certainly moving forward, finally!
At this point they do have the money to just hire a team, or at least a programmer

I think while most is came up with on the spot, there's still some things that they've planned.
BanBan being a part of the mutants was hinted at as early as GoBB 3. The drawing on the floor of BanBan with a guitar, and the music notes match on both that drawing and the mutant mural (when it wasn't fully revealed), and BanBan is the only one of the cast to specifically mention the mutants below.
But yeah, while it's very likely a lot of the ideas are made on the spot, they at the very least have some rough idea of what they wanted to build up towards.
I do like that as of GoBB 7, they have some interesting ideas going for them now. But if they can improve their coding, graphics, animations, mechanics, and the fundamental errors of their games, then they'll be all set and golden.
I'm still sad at how bendy came out it had so much potential
