So OfficeLogix refunded your order, sent the product anyway AND sent additional items? Tbh, if they were able to tell "It's BTOD" by your customer data then that definitely smells of "begging for a good review"/trying to "bribe" a reviewer.
Yea it's such a child move to not ship the items to a friend's house or even your house. Dont have BTOD as the company name..... lol like what is this?
@@csi2448 Yes, but they also sell it as a gaming chair. Maybe you want to watch a movie or video on the PC and then a place for your head is nice, especially at later hours. And the same applies to a home office chair.
TOTAL agreement (I have the Fern one too). Now I'm waiting for the Leap V2 version, so I can replace my OLS one. NO comparison (Atlas Fern version vs. OLS Leap V2). Worlds of difference. They announced the Leap version exactly one day after I received the OLS one (which had been backordered since The Flintstones - lol). It's better than no headrest, but I'll replace it IMMEDIATELY when the Atlas one is released. 👍
Why they chose a concave design just boggles my mind. When you think of most pillows on a bed, most of them are convex, where the pillow sit under your neck and supports your head. One thing is for sure, I'm excited about the Atlas Leap V2 headrest. I wish it was a BTOD partnership but oh well, Crandall seems like a decent enough guy, I'm still biased towards BTOD. the guy at Office Logix just seems super sketchy, and Dan Ahn has reveled some pretty surprising things about Office Logix. I actually just commented yesterday on Ahnestly's video about the Herman Miller Vantum 2.0 and how I think it'd be really cool to bring him on to do a chair tier list with you guys, get another opinion. Which reminds me, are you guys gonna review the Herman Miller Vantum 2.0?
I have the Atlas headrest for the Embody. I tightened the screws just enough to allow me to make adjustments with a bit of force while sitting, and at the same time have the headrest remain in position while I rest my head on it. I never tighten the screws all the way, otherwise I would need to pull out the Allen key every time I wanted to adjust something.
Office Logix headrest looks SOOO bad. It doesn't match the look of the embody first and foremost. I would never put that hideous monstrosity on my Embody. Atlas head rest, I can vouch looks and feels perfect.
Officelogix headrest straight up looks trash. I don’t need to confirm it by using something that is obviously poorly designed and also poor in quality.
Try both and stick with what works for you. I returned my Atlas not because it’s bad but because I just didn’t like it. I’d do the same with the OfficeLogix Shop one but no complaints so far.
Thats interesting about the Atlas adjustment torque tension and finding the sweet spot. I own an Atlas headrest and I find I 'am' able to tighten enough on all 3 adjustments where it will hold its position but also still be adjustable. The height is the only thing I eventually locked down to not budge. It seems there might be a difference between unit build quality since yours could not achieve this.
Which Atlas headrest do you own? We also have 2 versions of the Aeron model and I am able to find the sweet spot on both of those. Not on this Embody though. -Ryan
Of course that hook is gonna fuck your chair for life and will diminish its selling price down the road. You don't have to be a genious to conclude that, and you sure as hell don't need a test confirmation for that.
I have no idea how this sketchy Office Logix guy has the audacity to remain stubborn and defend a clearly badly designed product. It is just a bad product. He should just take the L, shut up and invest in a redesign. Would be much more fruitful than starting wars with reviewers and damaging his business further.
I ordered their headrest when it was launched back then, and the hook didn’t fuck my chair up so that’s one less thing 2 worry about. Other than this it’s a decent headrest.
The drama show was GREAT with popcorn when it was going on. LOL! Now do the Leap one, please. :) I received my pre-ordered OLS one about 10 mins before C announced they were making an Atlas version for the Leap. I have the Atlas Fern one, and LOVE it. Chances are that I'll be buying another Leap headrest when they're done. The OLS Leap one is getting the job done, but the Atlas design is more comfortable and flexible, so it's my preference.
A bit wrong on the Atlas headrest adjustments. You can fine tune the hex screws where they aren't super tight but tight enough where it allows you to adjust both the height as well as tilt from seating position. You have your acrews too tight, thats why you're experiencing the issues you have now.
Yes, but then it moves when I don’t want it to. I understand what you are saying. It’s how I use their Aeron headrest. But I cannot find that happy medium on this chair. -Ryan

It’s not supposed to be comfy. It’s supposed to correct your posture which does hurt in the beginning and goes away as your spine is back in it’s correct position. This takes atleast weeks and in some cases months. Don’t say something is bad when you don’t understand the intend of the product.
Maybe because it's comfortable for them? It sucks it wasn't right for you, which is why it's always important to try chairs out properly before you blindly buy a chair based on a recommendation.
@@SIlverwolf-fy8ciMaybe it's not for him, but I do hate it when ppl make it seem like the chair is overrated or overhyped. Comfort is subjective for a reason, and I know quite a few ppl who prefer something polarising like the Aeron above the Embody.
