So funny, I literally just watched your embody review which you uploaded 1 year ago and now you've released this! How convenient for me :D thank you for making this.
I just found your channel, and well, let me say.. You make fantastic content. It won't be long until you have thousands of subscribers waiting to hear your thoughts! Keep it up sir, you're providing impeccable value to all that watch your videos!
This is one of the nicest comments I've ever had on the channel! Let me know if there's anything in particular you'd like me to make content on, I have been considering other comfy tech videos (e.g., related to my standing deck or footrest, both of which I love). I'm all ears!
I got two embody chairs. The one in my office has the atlas headrest that I had preordered. Today I decided to order one for my second chair as well that I use at home, because it is fantastic.
THANK YOU, YOU LITERALLY "SAVED MY BACK" WITH YOUR VIDEOS ABOUT THIS CHAIR. I'm 6 foot 4.5 inches tall. I always face the problem 1) Do I sit up Straight and make my legs hurt b/c they are not aligned or 2) do I "slouch" to take pressure of my legs to put EVEN MORE PRESSURE ON MY MID BACK/SPINE. *Either option IS NOT FUN NOR COMFORTABLE*. With the Embody + Atlas I can say with 100 percent confidence, THIS IS THE BEST MY POSTURE HAS EVER BEEN IN MY 40 YEARS ALIVE!
I have the gaming embody, no headrest yet, but maybe I'll get it someday. The Embody is obviously a very nice chair although I do kinda wish the padding was a but thicker.
Thanks for stopping by! Do you mean the padding on the seat pan or back? I have a video showing how to add foam to the seat pan. I hadn’t thought too much about the padding on the back of the chair, other than thinking you don’t get that nice “ahhhhh” feeling when initially sitting in the chair.
@@bonanzabrandon6877 It's super easy to add foam to the seat pan without damaging the chair (at least it was for my 2018 Embody) - ruclips.net/video/ajHjDt9Vf6o/видео.html
More padding? If anything I prefer the older embody's with less padding. I have a gaming embody myself and enjoy it, but the padding actually makes the chair feel harder. The pixelated design makes the normal embody feel like you're putting your back against a cushy hammock. The logitech version makes the back feel stiffer which I don't love.
6:30 Agree with you 100 percent. Just b/c you have a chair you can now sit "comfortably" in your POSTURE IS STILL OUT OF WACK, YOU DEFINITELY NEED THE HEADREST IN ORDER TO "BUILD YOUR POSTURE" BACK TO "NORMAL".
Idk why I still watch these videos when I have the headrest already. But for any1 debating. If you lounge, like recline a lot, I'd say 1000% buy it when you have the money for it. It's still useful even when sitting up because the design of the headrest fits really went to support your neck and bottom of your head. It's very well made, doesn't damage the chair in any way, extremely comfy, and very adjustable. There are no downfalls besides the price, but worth it imo.
Received mine, badly designed. The bottom part of the back of the chair hits the headrest support. It limits the chair movements when you lay back in it and will break. Show it with videos to Atlas and they will answer that it is normal... Buy it if you want, but know that it will limit and file the plastic...
As shown in my video, can't you just push the headrest back before reclining right back? It's very easy to push back, at least on my copy of the headrest.
Great video mate, really interested in getting this, but I'm just wondering about the embody in general, did you ever / do you still feel the plastic in the lower back? I've only sat in the chair for about 5 days total so far and I've seen some people say it goes away / get used to it?

Awesome, thank you for stopping by!
Great video, just what I was looking for!

Heh, that's great to hear! Thanks for stopping by and taking the time to comment :)
I would like to buy it, but it is not available here in Brazil
is the headrest worth it for someone at 5'4? I think I would have to keep it at minimum height to work.

@@comfytechquest I was mostly referring to the seat pan, but really the back could also stand to have more padding as well.

the embody x gamin version has slighty thicker padding

@@Relax-il7zn totally agree with this - reclining without the headrest is just not comfy IMO!
everything my back Dr tells me is that headrests on office chairs arent a good idea.. but it does look cooler

I'd say I do feel the plastic on my lower back, but I've never considered it uncomfortable.
