@VGFightSchool I thought he meant df made one specifically. Df moving away from the 4070 comparisons..they need to come out and inform everyone what this console is. They really mislead everyone and now are addressing the short falls indirectly. I feel like they don't want to pis$ off sony.
@VGFightSchool I'm gonna watch your video again. My bad. Good coverage on this topic though. We are seeing some of these ps5 pro is better than high end pc guys get mighty quiet now.
I have a 9900K and I’m starting to have issue with holding 60fps at 4K on some games due to CPU limits. First Descendant, Satisfactory with a decent factory on-screen, Baldur’s Gate towns, Dragon’s Dogma 2 towns, etc. it’s enough to be annoying and disproves the usual “CPU no matter at 4K lul” nonsense. It’s time to upgrade. Now imagine a console with an even weaker/older CPU sold for $700+ as an upgrade. It’s just wild. 😂
Every game received an upgrade when I bought my 4070S and did not require HDMI 2.1 for VRR support. Still waiting on those 120 fps to uncapped patches for the Legend of Heroes games & SMTV Vengeance on PS5 Pro.
You made my point! I got into a heated argument with an Nvidia fanboy about how it’s superior and blah blah blah because of the upscaling. My counterpoint was, my 6800 XT doesn’t need upscaling lol. Then most cases I don’t need to rely on it to get a steady 60 on most modern titles. But the fact that you don’t need upscaling just wasn’t getting through his head. Nvidia is teaching these people that they need upscaling, which is unfortunate.
I play on PC now after I gave my ps5 to nephew but I want all games to go to all platforms so everyone can cross play with everyone tat would be much funnier to play but now’s and day all I hear is Xbox is dead from these Sony fanboys but to me i haven’t even see Sony released a game where it top multiplayer
My dude, I don't think you know what you're talking about at 7:04 . XESS is an AI upscaler that runs on every GPU brand including AMD, looks better than FSR in most circumstances, and doesn't need AI cores to do so. Though the XMX version of XESS (that utilizes AI cores on Intel GPUs) does look and run even better than this. So the argument that the hardware (or lack thereof) is responsible, is moot. Sure, DLSS is indeed made possible by use of "Tensor" AI cores. But PS5 Pro has its own AI cores that are dedicated to PSSR upscaling. PSSR is having issues for mainly one reason: It's less mature and the kinks haven't been worked out. DLSS has been around for years, now. Not only that, but Nvidia has poured countless dollars into making it look and run well. BTW, before I get called a fanboy, the only PS I own is a Vita.
I always knew Richard was out of his damn mind with the 4070 comparison. If its up to 45% better it will fall under close to 3070 since the ps5 is a 2070. Im amazed Richard thought this he should know better.
Digital Foundry just released a video calling the PS5 Pro a beta console that pretty much says everything anyone needs to know!
Where?
@@c523jw7 Here - I made a video about it... lol

@@c523jw7 They did. In their last video, they answered a question and pretty much called it that. I did a summary video on it.

U need to get the 7800x3d or the 9800x3d best 2 cpu for gaming
@ Both are overpriced or impossible to find right now, unfortunately. 😑
Ponies severely overestimated the capabilities of this scam of a console.
Its not 4k, its upscaled 4k with a base resolution of 1440p in this unlocked fps VRR mode

Res 4 hits upto 100fps on ps5 pro with ray tracing on and upto 120fps without ray tracing.
Don't know were this footage showing under 60fps is from.
Hey nice! you changed the game in the video.

So which is it? Will PSSSR ever catch up to DLSS w/o tensor cores?
