How was the led installation? And did you have to drill any holes?? I recently got my fm aerial Kosmos kit and I'm scared to put it together

Don’t be! Though the led kit has many parts to it, the vendor’s RUclips channel (yan.z) has gotten much better at the manual videos. They are nicely filmed and easy to follow. I’d only suggest taking your time with it. Make sure you do the led check before assembly. The trickiest part for me was the massive stickers that go onto the fin funnel light tubes. I found installation method that suited me best and it’s different from what the manual video suggests. Feel free to ask me any questions along the way. In my video, I tried to keep the most critical parts of the installation and I hope it helps you along the way.

The red stand from the start of the video is action base 2 red. for the final beauty shots, I'm using action base 5 black for aerial and the witch from Mercury weapon display base for the funnels and gundbits. The latter is a bit hard to find in regular hobby stores, in Canada at least, but still easily accessible and fairly priced on Aliexpress. Hope if helps ;)

Can you attach the fins and funnels to the arm like theyre shooting out from the shield?

I haven’t tried tbh. The fin light source is hidden within the shield. Since the shield can be attached to the arm - I guess you could do that. The wires will be hard to manage though. Btw. If you’re interested in the funnel funnels effects only kosmos now sells a separate kit for it. No body LEDs. Just the fin funnels. Check it on gundamit
