There is no up or down in space. The Death Star only has one direction it can shoot. It would need to rotate constantly to identify new targets and be able to hit them in the 3 dimensions of space. They're not sitting on top of an ocean, there is no horizon, and there is no up or down. Commentors acting like the death star is "upside down" are weird This looks great as always!

All the mediums you work with from plastic to wood to styrofoam etc, the amount of techniques you have mastered, painting, sculpting, soldering, creating custom electronic diagrams for lighting sequences, it's just amazing. Best of all is your artist's eye. Your finished products are among the most beautiful on RUclips. You asked about favorite builds, I believe mine is the piece you made to celebrate the 20th anniversary of The Two Towers - Frodo at the edge of the marsh, staring down at the elf corpse in the water. I used a video downloading app to acquire my own copy of that build that I can watch even during a net outage. I have enjoyed many re-watches of that episode.

Great but I think the effect would be better without the animated beam. Since the “explosion state” of the planet is static, it would look better if the green beam was static as well. Imo.
I'm going off of intuition, and it shows. I didn't end up with something as planety as I would have liked but it kinda looks like a planet, from a distance and when the lights are off. Such humility😂!!! (Usually Mr. Perfection) Two Weeks😮?!!! What ever will we do?!!! You could always try to do the prototype Death Star from Legends ( version 0.5??) the one in the Maw that shot at and chased the Sun Crusher into a black hole and was torn apart... I think a Hutt tried building one in another book too... Oh, there is a scene in the prototype Death Star where space troopers had to fight and make repairs too... Have a great vacation!
