    Fluid friction occurs between fluid layers that are moving relative to each other. You find lighter dust particles move fast on the surface of a flowing river. This is due to the high-velocity gradient at the top layer of water due to lower dynamic fluid friction at that layer.

    If you observe the ship track at night in the dark night you would see a track of visible light it left behind the bow of the ship and if we increase the speed of ocean water over a glass tube with some friction resistance like coarse metal screen mesh structure we may generate large amount of light without the need of electricity. Imagine a high presurized air and ocean water and let out the water and feed it to a glass tube filled with metal sponges and if the pressure is high enough and the glass tube is constrict enough to create enough frictional flow and refeed the flow back into the air part of the presuurized container it left then we had a forever lighting need no extra energy or electricity.

    How does vicosity affect drag?

    • @kingsstensei1854
      @kingsstensei1854 4 года назад

      Yes.

    • @diptibiswas8139
      @diptibiswas8139 3 года назад

      Viscosity affects drag.
      Higher viscosity means greater frictional force acting on the object. An object moving in water experiences more drag than it moves in air because water is more thick.
      You can check it yourself.
      Move your hand in air.
      And then move it in a bucket of water and check.

    • @ig_itsaugi4138
      @ig_itsaugi4138 3 года назад

      @@diptibiswas8139 yeah I know but why it happens.?

    • @diptibiswas8139
      @diptibiswas8139 3 года назад +1

      Now we know that water is denser than air. So the molecules of water are thicker than air molecules.
      Now when you push a empty box, it moves easily.
      But when you put something inside it and make it heavy, the total mass increases and so becomes more thick and when you push thus one you need more force.
      So, viscosity affects drag.
