We often think of the states of matter changing from solid to liquid or liquid to gas based on the temperature, but the pressure also has an impact on the state. In most cases, the higher the pressure, the higher the temperature needed to change the state. One example of this is the boiling point of water. At higher elevations where the air pressure is lower, water will boil at a lower temperature. Nice video with excellent examples and beautiful explanations! You forgot to tell how to calculate it though. Don't worry.... I got you covered. Mass = Volume × Density = Height × Area × Density Weight = Mass × Gravity = Height × Area × Density × G Pressure = F / A = H × A × D × G / A = HDG Boom.

Thank you so much!! I’m taking honors physics right now junior year of HS, but we’re using an AP book and my teacher isn’t good at explaining things. I’m not doing too well. This video explained pressure very well! I am a visual learner who needs concepts explained very explicitly haha. This did that for me :) thank you so much!! P.S. some of these comments about you accent are terrible. Personally I didn’t think it was a problem at all! Don’t let the haters pull you down! All the best
thanks for the video! mmh... i have a question tho... when you put the nail upside down into the wall... if you change the impact force so the pressure (P = F/A) stays the same as the pressure applied to the head of the nail on the first example... would the nail pierce the wall? or do this pointiness helps on the piercing of the wall besides the pressure? (sorry about my bad english)
