  • There are so many incredible cities in Mexico, and many of them are very underrated and often overlooked, especially when it comes to international tourists. The deserts in the north and the resorts on the coasts might be the Mexico of popular imaginaton, but this country is so much more than that. We think it’s one of the very best countries in the world for travel and it literally has it all.
In this video, we’re highlighting 4 cities that we think are overlooked even more than others but are well worth a visit. When you’re planning your trip to Mexico, we recommend adding these into your itinerary.
Let us know about more underrated cites in Mexico, because we still have a lot to see in Mexico and our ‘to visit’ list is always growing. We’ll have to do a part 2 for sure, about even more off the beaten path cities.
Hope you enjoyed the video! We don’t currently have a Patreon but if you like our content and want to buy us a cup of coffee, here’s a link to our PayPal tip jar!

i lived in puebla for a year (2018-19) and moved there from the SF bay area… it was one of the best years of my life and i plan on retiring there. it’s an extremely diverse and beautiful city and i also felt safe. And the people are the nicest you’ll find anywhere!

I love Mexico. Visited 4 times. The city, Tlaxcala, Puebla, Guanajuato, Veracruz. I love it. Puebla is my favorite. The food is good. I'm originally from El Salvador but grew up in New Jersey. Cannot wait to go back to Mexico and El Salvador.

I've only been to Puebla from these 4, but I agree, it's fantastic and so easy to navigate. Not too crowded, reasonably priced accommodation, beautiful architecture. Campeche and SLP are definitely places I want to see too. There's an abundance of hidden gems in Mexico, no doubt about it.

Great videos and cities that are not as known. I agree with Puebla. Puebla is the first Spanish city planned for the Spanish and Cholula is the oldest continuously inhabited city in the continent for more than 4000 years. They are both special. The other cities along with Guadalajara, Guanajuato are Zacatecas, Morelia, Jalapa, Aguascalientes, and Qeretaro to name a few. Great list and great video too!✌

Hey, good to see you guys back in Mexico. I love these comparison videos . Its great for us future retiree expats to figure out what cities should be on our list.
How's your Spanish coming along? I was in Costa Rica in December. I liked it but at the end of the day I think Mexico just has so much more to offer.

    • @laurenandseth

Thanks for the feedback! 😊 Our Spanish is really improving all the time. It’s getting really fun to try and only speak in Spanish as much as possible. Haven’t made it to Costa Rica yet, but I can relate. Of all the countries I’ve visited, many I loved, but I’d still choose Mexico to live hands down. The variety and culture is hard to beat. Has a little bit of everything. Cheers friend!

Great information here, thanks! We are going on an exploratory trip for possible relocation and I am trying to convince my partner to add SLP to our itinerary. If you were going to live long-term in Queretaro or SLP which would you choose? I'm looking for a very historic, very walkable, very green (parks and plazas) place with mild temps. I haven't been to either place yet but they seem somewhat similar from the (millions?) of videos I've watched, would love your thoughts! Also--we LOVED Puebla!

God loves you so much that He sent His Holy Son Jesus from heaven to earth, to be born of a virgin, to grow up and die on a cross for our sins, and to be put into a tomb 3 days and rise from the dead the third day, and He (Jesus) went back up to heaven. We must receive Sinless Jesus sincerely to be God's child(John 1:12).After we get saved by grace through faith in Christ, if we truly love the Lord Jesus Christ, then we will obey Jesus(John 14:15). Mark 1:15 "And saying, the time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand: Repent ye, and believe the gospel." Jesus said in John 14:15 "If you love Me, keep My commandments. "There's a real hell. It says in Revelation 21:8 "But for the cowardly, & unbelieving, and abominable, and murderers, & immoral persons & sorcerers ----&---- idolaters & all liars, their part will be in the lake that burns with fire and brimstone..." Please sincerely receive Holy Jesus & put your true faith and trust in Him today and please repent. Will you have a Real encounter with Holy Lord Jesus and stay in a Genuine relationship with Him daily please?
