- SLOW, I'm not huge on speeding on the street so I tried to keep it within a few mph of the limit. Nobody else wanted to lead so I stepped up and did it. I had some seriously fast cars behind me but nobody complained about the speed. They were either taking it easy or being nice lol. I definitely got dizzy/ motion sick but I think it was more of an anxiety thing, I'm struggling with health OCD pretty badly as of late. Struggle bus continues but this was a fun drive to work over some mental fears I was having. Later in the day I dropped the tire pressure a bit and really got down into some driving with the car. I will have more on that in a video later this week!.
I took my mk8 last year completely stock, definitely an experience, hitting it again this July now with some mods so hopefully it is a lot better lol.

nice vid! i've never been to tail of the dragon, but i've always wanted to go. did you own a mk7 before this? i'm wondering how the mk8 fares to it. i've heard that the mk8 is a lot more fun to drive.
Never owned a mk7 but drive plenty of them. Mk8 is lightyears better. Makes the mk7 feel like a mk4 lol.
@@DJwessling WOW i beleive you on that one I should save up for mk8 when i graduate collge rn I own mk6 gti witch is no where near as good as even the mk7... But honestly for my next car I will be most like going for any B58 bmw, I am tired of fwd and 4 bangers!@!!!!
It’s interesting because I think to myself about what car I want next. (I really want a Porsche but I make golf money lmao). But I don’t want anything more than my gti just add awd and it would be perfect for me. So I’ll probably end up with a mk8 golf r next and keep that until I appreciate to Porsche money. Lol.
Nice ride i got the same specd mk8 and color just like yours, how is the ride with the neuspeed lowering springs? Did you calibrate anything with the lights when you lowered the car?
Ride is amazing. Rides like it should’ve from the factory. Comfortable but firm and planted. No recalibrations necessary on mine because it’s an S.
