Installed a n55 into my e46
with a e90 GS6 37bz. That trans allows me to use the e46 6speed driveshaft and e46
6 speed trans brace 🫡

I’m trying to do a gs6-53bz and b30 swap on my 325i do I just need the starter relocator and drill out two bolt holes to make it work on the m54
I have a clutch flywheel and shifter all set I just need to know if it fits and get a driveshaft and diff then I’m good

Are M54 and M52 bellhousing patterns the same?
I see QuickTime offers a M52 to T56 bellhousing.
I want to put a T56 magnum behind N54, if the bell housings are the same between M54/M52 then the bellhousing should work with minor mods to the bolt holes correct?
Of course I’d have to figure out flywheel/clutch and mounting etc.
Yes they are.
It should work with some modifications. I would run the GS6-53BZ over a T56 though.
Just curious on how you adjust your clutch pedal, would love mine to grab lower

Can you use an M54 clutch and flywheel to avoid the starter alignment issue?
You can’t unfortunately, the input shafts are totally different. As well as the flywheel.

What was the intention of drilling the holes? Does it not line up with the block?
The holes on the gearbox are slightly offset so you have to open them up a bit
