During this time wasn’t circumcising still being done? Which is obviously a cutting. I do agree that the Lord was speaking figuratively. But I didn’t think of it until you referenced the Lord not violating the law. Is circumcising a separate/apart from the law? Blessings Pastor and Happy New Year ✝️
But will not the Antichrist's armies torture the little flock for not taking the mark of the beast, by doing these things to their bodies? (In some places in the middle east and Africa this could happen already for being of the persecuted faith.)
This was a really good study. Thank You!
This is a subject that has very often baffled me, so thank you for explaining it in depth.
Thank you for clarifying this and dear God, I hope nobody actually harmed themselves by misunderstanding the verses.

@jestlv Circumcision was prior to the Old Testament as it was established in Genesis 17, and the OT law was not dedicated until Exodus 24. Grace.
@@ColumbusBibleChurch So even though circumcision was prior to the law (Gen 17), it was not actually part of the law, or included in the law?
@@jestlv Circumcision was instituted prior to the OT law, but circumcision subsequently becomes symbolic of the OT law (Acts 15:1-5, 21:21). Grace.
