Angelina is one of my beginner 6 stars operators the other one is shining, I never bother E2-ing her for like 6 months because back then I'm not finding her really useful. But now she's one of my operarors that reach lv 90 with mastery 3 on both skill 2 and 3

Me too, see my second 6* after siege, I read here skill and talent then I just though damn that horrible for a 6* without testing. Also just like you I elite her very late in the game and if I remember correctly it was some random youtube video show me the magic of her S2.(Gotta love that slow)
I got Angelina, Shining and Hoshiguma in beginner banner and they will be used in every and all stages :D
Was one of my first 6 stars too. She's pretty okay as a slow OP in the early game - but she starts shining with skill 3 sooooo much.
NGL i wanted her as my first 6 stars and it took a while to get her since when she was in the certs shop i didnt have enough to bring her home. got her on her third appearance in the certs shop and even a dupe when i was pulling for the 5 star guaranteed in her banner. should have pull first before buying but nevertheless I am very happy with her and I took good care of her
Suzuran is basically the opposite of Angie. Suzu heals and doesn't attack during her skill, Angie heals and doesn't attack when her skill is down
After watching this video it makes me feel like I should elite 2 my angelina.

I also want to add that on one of the more recent CN surveys for most USELESS Operator, Angelina was ranked last (and inversely, most useful operator being her). Boy has she come a long way. That's my girl!

I play Arknights after release for about 1 month. At that time, people say that Angelina is the worst 6* in the game but I don't care and E2 her btw because she is the 1st 6* who came to my home. I didn't expect much but damn, she carried me all the way to the mid-late game. (and CC too ofc)

Not only SilverAsh. Same with Eyjafjella. I just think Eyja and SilverAsh has always been such necessary operators for their third skill in the long run. I've played since launch and my first was Siege, and i got them later on and used them since i got them because it makes it so much easier
Thorns as well, I mean who uses his other skills really? They're so underwhelming compared to his S3.
@@marthrr not rlly, eyja s2 is also strong, to the point where she screwed over a whole archetype. But yeah i do agree her s3 becomes prominent in late game.
It's just because people haven't tried her yet or there have been no occasion where she shines yet. It also happens with Ifrit and Nightingale.
Not really, SA is still useful imo since he can attack aerial enemies and can block. His S2 also increases his survivability turning him into a budget defender of sorts. When you are just starting and have no idea what you're doing, investing in units that have multiple utilities can be a good move especially when resources are scarce.
I was one of many that dismissed Angie at the beginning but she quickly became one of my most used operators in mid-late game, she was also the 2nd ever 6* that I raised to E2 right after Skadi.
Considering how huge the investment of an 6* E2 was back then, I was really happy to see that my investment was immediately payed off with one of the strongest 6* units in the game.

Wondered why the Imprisonment Devices were healing in MB. Turns out Angelina was healing them passively.
I remember one of the reasons why Angelina was considered weak. Her meh S1, her difficult to use S2 and her uniquely "difficult" to use S3, but in time we realized we were wrong. Her S3 is OP, her healing passive is great and she had an amazing character design.
She rose to the top, which is a funny coincidence considering she has a crush on the doctor and was trying to get us to notice her, which we eventually did.
My first E2, was costly as hell.

I had basically zero DPS units when I started out during OF festival, focusing on specialists because I like pushing enemies. When I pulled Angelina during CC#beta I literally S C R E A M E D and raised her to E2.
Yeah. I agree, Angelina may be comparatively niche compared to the other operators and their stable damage, but she's the literal best interpretation of what a Supporter should be. Her shockingly high damage is probably to offset her S2 and S3 downtime, though that changes entirely when Suzuran comes into play.
I have never been happier that her S3 can have above 50% uptime. That is a dangerously strong skill, and Suzu charging it up that much faster made her lethal.
Angelina fans rise up, she's my first 6* and she's been helping throughout the whole game no matter the stage and she's best girl ofc, and so I give her my full attention, I have her at E2 lv 90 M9

She’s been my main arts damage for over a year (since release). Gotta say though, it hurts my soul whenever I gotta choose between Angie or Manti. They just can’t coexist on the same battlefield…
angelina will always be one of the better 6* to get as a beginner for me, good damage and art slow helps me alot
I've had Angelina as an assistant ever since her skin came out xD But I've always enjoyed having her on my team and she has always been one of my waifus in general. Her passive healing carried my HP bars during one of my Max Risk daily CC#0 maps for Area 59 and you could only field four operators total.

Feel you, first 6 stars is Exusiai and she is my assistant since day 1.
angie was a common sight in my team early game because of her 2nd talent, it slowed the enemy most ahead which helped hold more enemies at bay while blue poison shot them down
and also i used her like a caster early game lol cause I didn't get eyja
Also got Angelina pretty early on while people still said she was one of the worst 6*, I raised her anyway and her S3 completely removed any need for casters

I got ange 6 month after i playing the game. And i absolutely love her gameplay and her damage and slow is absolutely insane. She probably the first instant e2 i ever do.
And because of her, i love phalanx caster archaetype (beeswax and carnelian) although i still didnt have carnelian to this day.
Just started today and she was my 6 star. Thanks for informing me on her usefulness in the long run.

Both of her Skill 2 & and Skill 3 are amazing. Granted, it's enough just to get them to Mastery 2 level. But if you are a try-hard, then by all means go for Mastery 3 on both skills.
She is THE MOST useful operator hands down. Don't believe that disguise of her as "Supporter". Yeah, a Supporter that supports by killing A LOT of dangerous enemies, ESPECIALLY in Contigency Contract.
Promote her to Elite 2 and enjoy that passive global healing buff 😂.
And yeah, her Skill 2 & Skill 3 requires just a tiny bit of finesse on your part, but god damn it those skills recharge fast - even at Mastery 1 - it hardly matters, for normal runs that is. But for Extreme High Risk Contigency Contract contents, Mastery 3 on both skills is a must.
@@lukmaanpratomo6866 Thanks for the information, I've only got her to E1 due to finishing up FGO's most recent event, but I'll have more time to spend on AK now. Instead of just running EXP/Chip farms to get rid of my Sanity lol.
@@DeltafangEX Well Arknights currently has that Rainbow Siege 6 collab event. You can try to farm for the tickets in order to purchase some much needed materials to promote her to Elite 2, plus your other operators.
Oh and when I said she is the most useful operator to have in your account, I literally meant it. Her usage is not exclusive for Contigency Contract, in fact she is used for nearly ALL contents in Arknights. Ranging from meme squads, trust farm squads, all the way to the famous 1P relay gameplay style. You'll find out eventually that she fits with literally any type of squad composition. And on some squads, she is the literal backbone that keeps the squad functioning and sometimes even considered the core operator.
Especially in Contigency Contract where sometimes Casters are banned. And it's true that she hits extremely hard for a Supporter class.
I know it's been a while, but 5mo later I'm sitting at 14 E2 units and 12 6 stars (two of which are only E1 until I can get more mats). Still enjoying my time with Arknights and still using Angelina in most of my runs haha.
Angelina was my first 6-star too and she carried me through nearly every CC with her 2 M3 skills, including a risk 31 and multiple mid 20s. If the content is difficult and I need to work with tight timings anyways, expect Angelina to be there. Sometimes even as my only healer.

I don't think angelina was considered bad because she was weak, it was more because at the launch of the game, SA and Exusiai would carry you through early game content, and there wasn't any significant need for a slowing operator. She's good now because the meta has evolved since release, and her slow is highly valuable.

when i first played Arknights, i got Hoshiguma. Then, i stopped playing and then one day i started playing again and got Angelina- i was very angry and i for ages never levelled her up, but then one day i decided to try her out and now she's one of my favourite Operators to use, E2 ofc

The simple fact that Angelina is my main healer on fozen city anni (and only for most of the time, with myrrh popping in a few times to say hi) already made her one of my favourite units.
Its from all what Angelina brings to the table I call her the 'Fire Support' supporter, supporting through sheer, reliable firepower.

My begginer banner gave me Angie, Shinning and Hoshi. They have a special place in my heart and i still use them to this day. Angie will always be in my squad. Hoshi will always be my tank and shinning will always be go to single medic
Of my friends I was the only one who leveled Ange and M3 her S2&3, then came CC and guess who was the most ready for every single one because of that amazing decision.
Oh and now she is a mainstay in my general team for new content along with Perfumer for that juicy global healing

angelina was my first 6* as well. she was my 2nd e2 (after myrtle) and i field her in basically every map. she's extremely useful, particularly as backup for my other main girl Scene. she does good damage when she's up, but also enables other ops to be just a little bit better

I just love my 17 lumps of floating sugar. She is my firs 6* and my favorite operator.
Pretty much reasons why she was hated back then was because she was a e2 prior op, and knowing the fact she dont attack (s2 and s3), made her hard on early game, especially newbie accs. But her multihit caster like dmg, and her global heal really made her shine. Weight decrease also if u like spec bullying.

From my events of playing since the game's launch, the first 6 stars I had was angelina. Although the first time is a bit difficult By using in conjunction with Amiya But nowadays I will use it with suzuran very often, both CC level 20 and above have been playing all the time. It's great to bring this person's stuff together. By increasing the hit speed, regeneration, increasing damage. Then the important thing is to reset the SP. And it's great when playing with a summoning group.
She is the 1st 6 stars I got and she has been one of the boss killers in my squad. Best girl :D
Angelina was my first 6 star too. She's E2 Level 50 M6 rn. I used to think she was pretty weak and boring, but after getting to know the game, yeah, she's actually pretty kick-ass.
Odd, I never heard Angelina was unpopular. She was the first 6* I promoted to E2, and the second 6* at M3. Last CC my friends used Angie 4 times a day, while completely ignoring my Silverash and Platinum, who were also M3 by then. So I guess word has gotten out.

Angelina S2 has a downside if you're using a potato phone, it also makes your framerate go to the drain

I never got to try to max risk on any CCs even though I'm a rather old player, because I'm always one key operator short even after accounting friend support, by not having all three of the most meta CC operators with Surtr, Mudrock, and Angelina

to this day I don't think she's a good op for players starting Arknights, as she doesn't play like other supports do with S2 and S3. I'd say that early in the game, a player wants to E2 ops that will give them a power spike in the game, such as SA, Exu, Zima, Texas, Saria, Lappland, you know what I mean, the ones that basically cheese some stages(honestly Saria is too good for Anni3) and will help you FINALLY BEAT SK-5(god that shit took me a while to figure something out).
As she's mostly used as an utility op, I think focusing on her early on really hurts the player as she needs good investment to shine. By no means she is bad, she has her place in my teams but I don't see much use for her early in the game and resources for players that are early in the game are too tight to invest in an operator that gives the most value with some sort of Mastery(such as S3). There is also the fact that she costs 16dp at P0 and other Support operators early on cost low as 10 such as Orchid at P6, and DP Cost is a deal breaker for some stages.
with all that said, if you've been playing for a while, have a few E2's that are doing the job, and have Angelina on the bench, why the fuck she isn't at E2M9 yet my guy ?
True, timing with Ange can be hard for a new player surprisingly. I have seen countless new players quit Arknights because it was too hard or complicated for their perspective thus discouraging them, adding Angelina will only worsen that burden.
@@kaykz885 True. It's actually a good thing that I got her mid-late game since I know how things work by then, instead of getting her early on since I know that I would have invested in her and I would be irritated with having to time everything.
