A lot of people don't realize how much time and effort goes into making the types of videos this channel is known for. The voice-over scripts and recording, lighting, stitching various shots together with meaningful commentary... gives you an appreciation for when channels like this give us such wonderful content all the time!
I'm sure that's the case. Your channel is very professionally produced. My disappointment was mainly a result of looking forward to seeing you work the magic especially removing the wrinkles.
+1 on this. Great project and very generous, but I’d love to have seen more of the work that went into restoring the uppers. Especially after the video on the soles was so detailed
watching your work is seriously therapeutic, i hope that if you do another project like this, you show more of your magic like Trenton and Heath did. look forward to a sequel.
Great job Preston. What a great cause. I luv it. I would hope that more people in ur profession would do same. How wonderful it would be. I appreciate u so much. Keep up the great work.
I am absolutely blown away by the collaborative idea and process you guys have done. This is such a "Win-Win" deal. The lucky individual who won the bid probably had to be revived after checking these shoes out. Plus the funds going to a charity. What a wonderful way to share the skills you all have...
I'm from Trenton's and Heath's channel and am blown away by both of your jobs. Truly gorgeous shoes and I wish I could afford anything half this nice. Thank you for sharing your craft. Truly amazing!
Preston, many thanks to you for donating your services to our veterans and others. It is Americans like you that make our sacrifices meaningful. Best wishes from a Marine vet.
It sounds like people want more long form shine videos. I agree. They are therapeutic and relaxing. Videos like Jason Dornstar and Gentle Shoeshine are awesome.
Very great job Sir. I really enjoyed this collaboration with Trenton and Heath. The work on this pair was incredible. Thank you for sharing and I wish you all the luck in the world with the auction.
Once more you made an old pair of shoes look amazing, and the repair workmanship by Trenton & Heath is just as amazing, really beautiful pair of shoes (I really was looking forward to see part 3).
This is one of the very rare moments I wish I were a man, so I could buy these beauties for myself... I look forward to seeing how much they'll be sold for in the end, though! The higher the better, gentlemen!
@@TheElegantOxford Wow, 10mn after your comment, we're at $500+!! And the auction has only just started, after a week, it will be a lot more, I'm really excited about it! Your shared masterpiece definitely deserves that much and more! It's all for a good cause after all 😊
Hey, you don't have to be a man to wear oxfords! I'm a woman, through and through, born that way and will always be that way, but I love wearing my Park Avenues. Dressing well in a way that makes you happy and comfortable transcends gender.
What i DON'T understand is how can ANYONE give this video a thumbs down They need a mental repair as well. EXCELLENT work buddy. wish I wore a size 10!
HI, PRESTON!!! Those turned out damn nice! The color is much better than the original. I know a lot of men don't care for the burnishing, but I Love it. I hope you sell these for a good sum of money, and are able to donate to your charity. Good luck!!!
Glad I came across these videos. I haven't ever owned any shoes like these but they have opened my eyes. Maybe some day. Awesome job and those shoes are gorgeous.
The best man who cares about shoes in this world,I have ever seen!Bless u,my brother and wish u all the best!Best regards and respect from Azerbaijan Republic,Sumgait city!!!🙏🏻🔥
Wow I wish i had the money to afford these shoes!! As a kid in high-school I don’t have much money and I’m stuck with using some super cheap shoes, they don’t even have real leather, I managed to still use a shoe polish and get a close to perfect mirror finish.
Hey, i am an university and money is an issue to me too. My advice is too check ebay and thrift stores for 2nd handed deal. Sometimes, you will find a treasure. I myself manage to score 2 Dacks shoes (the Alden of Canadian) for 20$ each. And seeing Church in mint condition on ebay for 100$. Good luck.
this is funny :D mr. rendenbach is the landlord of my company and one of our clients. our offices are actually right beside the leather factory. nice to see our small town is now world famous :DD
3 humble and charismatic guys with passion for what you do ... welldone boys quality still exists because of such folks .. God bless all the way from sunny Dubai!
Fantastic all around. 2 of my favorite channels collaborating like this was a fun watch. Preston, those shoe trees, you should have had your initials on one and T&H on the other. Regardless, love both of these channels and I hope you guys do something again in the future.
That pair of shoes are BEAUTIFUL!!! I have a pair of Florshime Imperial wing tips that are in bad need of new soles but there is no one in my area that do it!
wow looks great! that was a fun collab to watch. almost wish you filmed the whole process from acetone → final reveal... it's fun watching you go through each step
Truly unbelievable restoration. Bravo! I'm personally not a fan of the mirror shine (I'd only go for it with very formal black oxfords), but it looks terrific.
Finally bro.....even before I watch it , I think you should know I checked about 10 times in the past 2 days to see if you had released this video......now I just woke up and it in my morning routine....... You've got me hooked Preston. Hooked!!😆
i know the polishing portion can get repetitive. but the moment the leather balm first makes contact with the leather needs to be in every vide. that initial change in colour never gets old.
Check men's resale shops in your area as well as better thrift stores in your area. You'd be blown away by what you can find for way less than retail. I found a brand new $500 Zegna dress shirt for $25 a couple years ago. And that's just one of many major finds. You don't necessarily need to be rich the dress well. Sometimes your just need to be smart and resourceful.
hey preston, i know it’s not necessarily ELEGANT... but i would LOVE to watch you restore a pair of beat up old doc martens. get out of your comfort zone a little, you know? :-) fantastic restoration, btw
I have a pair of black Johnston & Murphy (7 1/2) Optima wingtips, kilted with tassels. Very good condition. The welt and outsole are unusually scuffed. The soles have less than average wear, the insole brand gilding is slightly worn. I’m not sure how to approach the welt and kilt with tassels.
WOW!! Those look phenomenal! Great job as always, Preston! Happy bidding all!
I waited to watch you're resole video until this video came out lol
You guys make great content!!
Trenton & Heath great job guys
Loved what you both did with the soles. Those are beautiful shoes.
You guys might hit an all time record for the price of AE Strands with this collaboration. Well done!
Excellent craftsmanship at both ends. I hope they raise a ton of money for the chosen charity 👌
Disappointed the video was so short Awesome job with the shoes. Wish I could have seen all your work.

Watch parts 1 and 2!
The Elegant Oxford; Trenton and Heath; Bedo's leather works - the holy trinity of shoe care....(with a slight mention of Kirby)
would have loved to see the whole process.
the shoes are gorgeous.
watching your work is seriously therapeutic, i hope that if you do another project like this, you show more of your magic like Trenton and Heath did. look forward to a sequel.

Wow! Very snart looking. Watched all three videos. Excellent craftsmanship and artistry.
They ended up going for $800 on eBay, awesome!
OMG. That’s great.
What was the starting bid? Just curious
Thx, I was wondering what they went-for, someone with some deep pockets obviously
Wow fantastic news!
And that person got their money's worth. Those shoes are absolutely beautiful.

Hey, Robert! Welcome! Thank you so much!
Absolutely blown away, stunning work by true craftsmen. So glad I stayed up in the UK for this. Certainly worth the wait Preston.

Thank you for your service, Dave.

What a fantastic gesture and wow bidding is already over $700. Fantastic!
Very great job Sir. I really enjoyed this collaboration with Trenton and Heath. The work on this pair was incredible. Thank you for sharing and I wish you all the luck in the world with the auction.
Thanks!
You guys did a phenomenal job! Very few craftsmen left in the world and you three are among the elite!
Such a wonderful thing to do...donating shoes to the needy.
Oh my...they are very nice! What a wonderful idea this is to donate a pair of shoes, what a blessing!!
Man you guy's really did a good job making those shoes look beautiful
Once more you made an old pair of shoes look amazing, and the repair workmanship by Trenton & Heath is just as amazing, really beautiful pair of shoes (I really was looking forward to see part 3).
Incredible product! Thank you for sharing your talents in support of a great cause!
Always it’s a pleasure be a witness of this magnificent restoration better than new amazing job Guys👏🏻👏🏻🙌🏻

Preston what a great job. You really out did yourself. Thank you.
Stunning work by you and the gentlemen over at Trenton & Heath. Positive feel good collaboration all around. Inspiring really.
They are the best
Making old things new again is such a wonderful act of love. I really appreciate what you do!
Thank you so much!
It took all of 91 seconds to get out bid. Once bidding is complete, you should have a nice gift for your charity. Congratulations!
This is one of the very rare moments I wish I were a man, so I could buy these beauties for myself...
I look forward to seeing how much they'll be sold for in the end, though! The higher the better, gentlemen!
Thank you! They are at $355 now. That’s WAY more than I ever imagined.

These kinds of shoes also exist for ladies & they look phenomenal! I'm personally wearing light pink ones.
Ended up going for $800! 🙌

Brother Soto that was an awesome collaboration with Trenton and Heath.

There’s always someone who will complain.
