This makes me genuinely scared of playing the game on a competitive level.
Trust me, it's super fun to get good at smash, but not really online. If you can find some people in your region to practice with it's incredibly fun to improve at the game.

Yeah, all the clips on day 3 actually shocked me that steve can do all those follow-ups such as putting a block to get another jump and putting another block for an up smash. All those setups I've never seen before were super cool

The blocks breaking as fast as they do if you stand on them actually makes it better for him even though the short duration was supposed to be a downside
The up smash shenanigans only work because the block breaks and Steve falls and it cancels it a bit early making it possible to do again even though they should still be in end lag
Block canceling is what I call it
The most notable moves are up smash for the ladderesque combo and grab for the block cancel grab release cheese that people do by the ledge for shield break punishes or against unaware players crowding the part of the stage to try and edge guard (think little Mac trying to get the 2 frame with the down smash)
There is probably other uses too lol I’m gonna lab a bit later and figure out exactly how many frames the blocks last then go through the rest of the frame data and see what moves this tech could be used with aside from the two obvious ones
Side note
If you dair on top of a block and it breaks you do not get this effect instead Steve will fall with the anvil through the block allowing him to perform falling grounded attacks
The only time this was really relevant for me was in a Steve ditto on battlefield in which the other Steve made a block by the right plat towards the middle I daired landed on the block there was a slight delay(it did not land in the middle of the block so it took a little longer than if it did) then it broke it and I did an up smash while falling on the anvil to get the stock

I don't want steve to destroy the game, but sick combos would be welcome. If better players can become better with steve, that'd be pretty nice, as long as it takes some skill
I'm never gonna get tired of this song it's just fire also glad to see someone using the enderman alt I think it's the coolest. Also originally I thought he would be a very technical character but alot of these clips were smart and straight forward. Loving it.

@@owenkammer9501 if you look closely, you can see that he fired it to the left not the right, and since you can’t turn your rocket once it launches, he wouldn’t have made that back.
Also, he had 2 stocks after the cut, so it's certain to have been SD.

No, Steve has a huge turnaround window on his Up B. So big, I'm genuinely confused how so many people SD with him. But yeah, he probably didn't get the turnaround in time anyways and cut

The combo starting at 3:22 may not have been 100% true (though it could have been), but it was still insane!
It's true, the hero doesn't go into tumble and didn't have enough frames of SDI to get away prior to the down tilt. Normally the last hit could be avoided, but it's been tested and the redstone minecart (he used that) is true no matter how they SDI the down tilt, so it was surprisingly true.

@@cullenhutchison6528 It's been labbed by people already [ESAM has a video where he labs something similar and there's some twitter showcases of it]. There's more hitstun than you'd think on up air [the move is also only 16 total frames, so it's surprisingly fast] and very few frames to SDI prior to the down tilt while you can follow the DI to diminish its impact. Hero's fastest option is a frame 3 air dodge, but when labbed the last hit is I believe the only place he could've gotten out if mashing airdodge and SDI'ing up and out [don't quote me, but I believe that's the optimal SDI for escaping falling down tilt early], but with powered minecart it's true [hits on an earlier frame].

If Empersheep can pull these off, I would be extremely happy. Also, the origin of Double Time (day 2's song) was an online set of minigames in a legacy version of it. I say was since to my knowledge it seems they stopped manufacturing it? Or something like that, I don't know the details, look it up yourself, anyway I grew up playing those types of games and my personal favorite songs were this one, Dance of the Blocks, and Glide, along with some others I can't recall. I absolutely loved it though, especially with the music and when I heard that there was a version of Minecraft that was like this except with more servers I automatically thought I had some cheap demo of the servers and thought that the rest were all like it. Needless to say, I was disappointed. Oh well, I guess I just have to hunt down that version and play with it.

At 1:06 the music syncs almost perfectly not just with attacks, but with almost all actions, even just throwing out moves and grabbing the ledge. The sync at 2:20 was also epic

I don’t know what I love more. The clips or the music. The music syncing and the transition between days were amazing as well.
I think this might easily be your best character Danish. The combos have a sense of control and tightness that exceeds even my favorite video by you which is joker.

When I see videos of steve plays my only thought is " be careful what you wish for, you might just get it "
and we got steve, and he looks like a nightmare, this doesn't even feel like smash
Steve is so gonna be a troll character, here's why:
- can 2 frame AND ledge trap with down tilt or down special
- can also ledge trap using the anvil and blocks
- the legendary midair down smash
- up tilt combos into itself, combined with blocks you can rack a lot of damage
- diamond sword forward smash is ridiculous
- at high percents the minecart is essentially a ride to your death if you're not careful

Man I love the story in these videos. That sounds like a meme but I’m being kinda serious. It’s way more fun to see the progression and expansion of your skills with the character, than it would be if it was just the amazing day 3 clips.
It’s seriously cool and something pretty unique to your videos, at least in terms of the smash community I don’t think anyone else does something really remotely similar besides maybe the amibo training videos being conceptually somewhat similar in terms of having an enjoyable sense of progression.
Still though, to me at least those are far less fun because a) it’s a computer not a person and b) amibos all have spirit effects so Indint see that and go “oh that’s dope I didn’t know you could do that” I go “ah cool that’s a broken power up he has”

They added gravity cancels to smash but you can do so much more with them... you can just place ground wherever you want and the followup options are incredible
