I was there for this! First concert ever and still the most epic to date. At 15 years old i had zero businesses being in the middle of the sod fight....but it was awesome!
September 24, 1992 Oakland-Alameda County Coliseum Arena, Oakland, California. Thank you so much and God bless you a million times for posting this great and rare precious concert video. It has been a very long time since I saw any footage from this particular show. This is one of my favorites from the UYI era. This Oakland California show was very close to the one I saw at the Pasadena Rose Bowl on October 3, 1992. Guns N' Roses and Metallica at this time had a vibe that was indescribable. The word magical is not enough. Even more than thirty years later, I am still praying Axl will have the epiphany to release the pro shot video from a lot of these concerts. Sorry for the ramble, I love and miss this time period really bad for so many reasons.

Creo que fue después de este concierto que a slash lo encontraron muerto en su habitación de hotel . Sobrevivió después de batallar con su guitarra contra el mismo diablo . Gracias por subir este video . Saludos desde Argentina
Holy shit!!! I was at this show and during this time my buddies and I were sitting very close to whomever filmed this not knowing it then but I remember where we were in the stands hanging out tripping ballz waiting what seemed like hours for G&R and watching the “Sod fight” and just glad we decided to go up to the stands and not have to deal with that! Thanks for posting!!!
I was supposed to be at this show. My car broke down about 5 miles away from the coliseum and I didn’t make it. Took me many many years to get over that.
🏁🏁🏁❣💯Thank you so much from the bottom of the heart for this upload. I can't get enough of this UYI era live footage and can't pinpoint what it is. If anybody gets a time machine, you can name your price, and you will also have a new BFF. I mean it. I just turned 18 in summer of 1992 at the time of this concert and would do so much to go back.
WOW I was at this concert holy crap this is cool I remember the fans tearing up the field cause the Oakland A's had a playoff game the next day 😊 WOW what a trip ❤
SETLIST WRITTEN BY PERFECTCRIME70 (aka lukeewd) THIEVES WILL BE CALLED OUT 0:00 - Fransad Intro 10:10 - Concert intro 12:51 - Welcome to the Jungle (Do you know where you are Intro) 17:42 - Mr. Brownstone 23:04 - Live and Let Die (Paul McCartney Cover) (i'll be right back)
I like how in the video around 45 minutes, bro in the background is hitting on some girl that wants nothing to do with him. Loser guy - "I’ll make you see fireworks" Girl - "Yeah right"😂😂😂
it's insane to think of all the shows the band filmed i wonder if guns and roses will do what the rolling stones have done and release material from the past would be amazing !
Dude had too sneek in Recording Camera nowadays Everyone has a Phone and are recording. They’d take your Cam Corder back then and kick u out if you got caught.
That was a crazy day! I was huge GnR fan, and this was about my 3rd or 4th time seeing them..... Metallica completely blew them off the stage that day and exposed what a bunch of twats GnR were. Never took them seriously after this day.
Metallica sucked when I saw them, they did an awful acoustic version of motorbreath too, we left early, lots of people left early....Metallica is overrated.
Saw them in 92 in Prague. So disappointing. Long, slow and oh so many solos. Way too artsy. What happened to the power of „Appetite“? They never recovered.

Me too buddy me too
I was 16 and decided not to to go with my friends to this show because I had school the next day. 🤦🏻♂️
Back then, there were no Rebeccas to put an end to the traditional microphone toss.
WOW I was at this concert holy crap this is cool I remember the fans tearing up the field cause the Oakland A's had a playoff game the next day 😊 WOW what a trip ❤
I was at this show for Big day on the Green Bodycount Metallica and Guns but they were amazing to see live that day
Axl was the biggest rock star on the planet back then.. thing with today’s rock is there is no mystique anymore.
I also was there. I had to leave after GNR's second song because they took forever to get on stage and I had to take bart back home.
I was there and it was epic!!!!!!🤟🏼
