    I love your videos. They are so very helpful for a new weaver. I appreciate so much the time that you spend explaining things so clearly. Side note... I bought my first rigid heddle loom from you. It was a little Beka. 😊 You are such an inspiration!!!

    Great explanation! I love the idea of using those spring clamps as weights, I have a bunch of them.

    I suggest putting a string through the first pickup yarns, so after you take out the stick you can easily put it back again instead of having to go through the extra time making sure its all picked up correctly each time. Or use heddle strings and a dowel. Both work well and save time.

    This looks like a nice added element. Could I use string heddles for the “up” pickup stick?
