  • Pristine mountain creeks and fall foliage, that is peak time to go car camping! We spent 1 night in the National Forest and had the whole place to ourself for kayaking, cooking, and camping.

    I love to visit the Quachita National Forest. My father was born and raised there in the Winding Stairs Mountains in eastern Oklahoma. I have camped many times throughout my life. I love the streams, creeks and reservoirs, pine trees and hardwood fall colors. Should be on very outdoor enthusiasts bucket list. Thank you for the wonderful video.

    • @GatewoodBrown
      @GatewoodBrown  Год назад +1

      No way! The eastern Oklahoma portion (and western Arkansas) have to be my favorite part. Mountains bigger than you’d dream for being in Oklahoma. The ouachita’s are quickly becoming my go to place for outdoor recreation. Texas is great but you can’t beat vast public land that’s easy to access
