Now, you have all kinds of unique and exotic devices, pulls, smokes, and panels, and of course a much better camera and mic. It was system Test 28 when you started using the more HD camera and better sounding mic.
I miss the 8005 and i8005. I almost think you should make the garage an independent system using an 8005 or i8005 that can communicate using the old NAC/IDC lines with your main panel in the house? That would be cool.

And that was in Feb so i pretty sure those old alarms are gone now. And they did go off where i was there visiting my dad. They just do chime tunes they don't do any messages at all. When it went off there was a announcement over the hospital intercom system saying. Attention please fire alarm 10th floor building 7. It turns out it was something in the pump room.
I’ve been doing some research online and the information I’ve found, though helpful, hasn’t really helped all that much. I know I need an Audio Signal Generator, the DVC Chassis, the interface modules, a remote microphone and a CPU for the DVC, but what other components do I need to get in order to install a DVC in my Notifier NFS2-640? (I have access to VF tools so programming is covered)
If your neighbors are getting annoyed in april fools get a horn strobe or a horn you used in system test 26 or 27 idk and blow it out and annoy them thats what i would do..
A simple panel can be made with nothing but a power supply and a relay. Silencing can be achieved with a switch. A much more advanced panel could be made with a microcontroller, an LCD, some buttons, a few relays, and a circuit to check EOL resistors.

It's a Space Age Electronics A32 strobe plate. Basically a strobe version of the AV32 light plate.

The tone at the very end sounded like a Simplex 4903-9219/9220.
Sounds like amplifier background noise. You can even hear the alarm tone when it is silenced due to a high input impedance on the amplifier.
