This is my favorite of this series so far. Can't wait to hear these guys live again.
Stefon Harris is an absolute monster jfc those vibes runs are insane
Keeping the Bobby Hutcherson lineage strong!
Mark Turner is just amazing!
Great arrogance. They managed to improve the arrangement of a music genius.
I've been listening to it for 7 years and I never get tired of it.
Today, at least, I don't cry anymore. But the ecstasy is the same!
LOL! Loving this comment!
I can't believe I only just heard this now, that was an incredible arrangement, beautiful dynamic performance, bravo, absolutely stunning
welcome! lots more collective videos from these sessions (and others) on youtube.
WOWWW
I've listened to this tune now for the 20th time or so...and I'm still getting to like it more and more and...more. Thank you! Awesome groove. It's all about rhythm
glad you dig it! did you check out the other videos from the session?
that moment when the snare kicks in....oh so orgasmic
This helps more than school
*DAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMN*
I love their version of this song.
Stuck in head for days. Saw them close the tour in Oakland. Fantastic!
This is the sickest thing I have heard in a while. Love it!
Good God... A million thumbs Up!
STUNNING 😍
saw this live in Albany. when Eric drops that back beat at like 1:25 my life changed.
one of the best for real! always on my list over 6 years!!!
This is like... the ULTIMATE.
it was a good year for the sfjazz collective! check out their newest work at SFJAZZ.org/digital.
Is Stevie Wonder the only "pop" artist that doesn't have to be reharmonized? I've always loved these chords. Thank God for Stevie.
Thanks for igniting the jazz spirit and making me play harder!
that colorful ... that move ... what a delight ... that energy ...
Wonder!
Their performance and the video editing 🥹 crème de la crème ❤

Great music!
This is crazy good. The musicians are all so chill about it, despite the complexity of the music!
Stefon Harris holding the mallets in berton's grip! Awesome. Also, me and my friends are waiting for you guys to come to Sweden, and I have just about had it in waiting..
I just love SFjazz Collective. Don't ever stop the groove!
I never much cared for this song, until now.
This is amazing! I want more and will now follow SFJAZZ. This arrangement is awesome. I am coming from the 60's Jazz days with the greats.
Jack and Karolyn Dorsee San Diego
From a sax play who hangs with drummers, Eric Hardland's relaxed demeanor while keeping such a tight groove at first makes me smile
So exciting
The musicianship in this is sickening. I LIVE!
Best one ive seen👏
i had a rough day today, but, man, did this lift my spirits!!! amazing feel throughout the piece!!!
congrats and greetings from Greece!
Well, that made my day. Now I have to get the CD.

This is too awesome. Props to every single one involved in this project.
The mix is perfect, raw instruments in the studio, so alive and breathing.
This made my day.
amazing!!!! I love it! wie im meer auf dem rücken zu liegen und ins blaue zu gucken!
Loved this song since I first heard it. Nice arrangement, decent stereophonic audio quality and nice videography. I'll have to get to SFO and see you guys live.
This is so good that it is ridiculous... I wonder who comes up with the arrangements?
Duhran Wilson "Visions" was arranged by vibraphonist Stefon Harris. Each year, all eight Collective members arrange a composition by an artist, as well as compose their own original.
that's a great version of a beautiful song. thanks so much - and a really nice way to organize your repertoire. truly a collective.
YES!£@%^SGF$^$ everything about that was sick. Absolutely love this group.

nice interpretation.
love how they lock in at 6:08 that groove is deep. i love it. i want to bathe in it.
👏👏👏👏
my preferred genre is metal but above that i love talented musicians. that is why i can come from pantera or system of a down and appreciate these guys just as much if not more.
The band is amazing, but let's give more credit to Mr. Jack Conte for doing an awesome job with the recording. It really helps the music transmit the feeling it's supposed to transmit.
i wish everyone my age appreciated this kinda shit as much as the people who have watched this... sad really that they dont................ did he just check the time 0:23
Awesome. Will you guys ever come to Atlanta?
yeah when @2:34 happened i was like WHAT!?!?!?
Hello, I absolutely LOVE this piece my band is currently trying to play this at Norfolk State University. I was wondering if or where I could buy the original sheet music. Please respond, have a great day.

6:18 =O
ive watched the only last 40 second about ten times now... dude, not to speak of the shit before that!
Haha, I did!
I can’t get enough - I am picky when it comes to messing with stevie’s music but damn, y’all! Stefon’s arrangement is brilliant - seriously.. this reminds me why I love jazz!!! Beautiful !
Hey guys, great job this is too good! I'd be incredibly interested in studying the score for this arrangement as part of my degree, is there anywhere I can purchase it or any way you'd possibly be able to send me a copy??! Would be eternally grateful! Keep making music
am i alowed to post this on fb?
What is Mr. Harland's Left Side ride?
Is this Jack Conte's studio?
One dislike? Must've been old Mr Wonder jealous of sweet arrangement x
Looks like a KCon Bounce Ride.
This is as close as sex gets without actually being sex. bravo gentleman. way to inspire a mediocre sax player!
transcribe that shit bro
That drummer's making everything look to easy. Fire him.
nasty...
Great arrogance. They managed to improve the arrangement of a music genius.
I've been listening to it for 7 years and I never get tired of it.
Today, at least, I don't cry anymore. But the ecstasy is the same!
