I don't know why I always found the DS games' intros to be intriguingly sinister (mainly DPPlt and BW1)
But I love them the most
It's probably the quieter and lower pitch notes in DPPL as compared to the other titles. Those notes tend to sound ominous to most people.

The DS intros got REAAALLY cool suddenly... Particularly HG/SS and the Gen 5 ones. They really stepped things up. The 3DS ones are cool too, but just seem to show off random gameplay clips (not something that was created specifically for the intros). But Omega Ruby/Alpha Sapphire make me the most nostalgic ever. The beauty.

When I was younger, the graphical difference between Gold/Silver and Ruby/Sapphire, only two years apart from each other, absolutely blew my mind. Gen 1 and 4 will forever be my favorites, but Gen 4 and earlier are so nostalgic
To think gen IV is considered nostalgic now. I was 12 when the original diamond and pearl came out back in 07, damn....

Nostalgia comes quickly. It always has. But I think it’s more noticeable nowadays because of the rapidity of technological developments.

There is a "Presented by Game Freak" at the beginning of Sword/Shield, but no jingle. :(

I can't believe how powerful this intro sounded, even though it was still on the DS.
I mean, the DS accomplished a lot, especially for Nintendo (their consoles aren’t bad but definitely can’t compete against a higher quality one like Xbox or PlayStation). Their speakers weren’t amazing, but they were actually pretty good for Nintendo in that time.
BW2 are crazy, considering that the DS was released in 2004.

This video was posted since last month (March, 12th) but it got automatically blocked worldwide by Pokémon!
I dispute the claim made on that video and waited 30 day until the video got unblocked!
Today, I won! Pokémon should'nt copyright claim my video since it fall under fair use!
That mean that for the moment I will fight all my older video that got blocked worldwide (All Z moves, All lusamine battle, etc, etc)
This is actually good new! Anyway, I'm working on all zygarde locations since yesterday and took longer than expected but I'm still working on it!

Pokémon platinum's dark intro is the best
Back when I played Red and Blue, I used to think that if I started the game on a certain Pokemon that scrolled by, if it could be encountered in the wild, it would be more common to find.

Shows off pokémon traveling with their trainer with happy music, and then BAM! Hits you with that battle theme and shows the god of land and the god of water ready to slug it out, and the only hope is the terrifying god of the sky.

The RSE and ORAS title theme is objectively the best title theme they ever produced. It’s so musically beautiful. There’s no missed opportunities anywhere in the music.

I love how much the themes have evolved... Ultra Sun and Moon are my favorites in terms of openings. Cinematically and musically.
Pokemon Yellow was my introduction to Pokemon, and still one of my favorites, easily the best gen 1 experience imo.
On gen 5, im just appreciating the models for Reshiram Zekrom and Kruyem's both Fusion. Its beautiful

after 200 hours on my Ultra Moon save file, I didn't even realize how good the intro was until just now
bruh i WILL SIT ON THE INTRO FOR 1 HOUR
I embarked on an epic journey in Ultra Sun where I decided to try to obtain every single form of every single Pokémon in existence in my boxes in that game WITHOUT doing any transferring myself from any other games and without trying to negotiate or beg for trades from anyone. I could ONLY catch whatever Pokémon were available in game, and get the other Pokémon from the GTS by just checking in whenever I could and scrambling to try to get whatever I needed when it randomly became available. And I managed to get every single Pokémon (not counting Mythicals, because I think they weren’t even allowed on the GTS), and every single form of every single one of those Pokémon, this way, except for these four: Unown X, Icy Snow Vivillon, Sandstorm Vivillon, and Fancy Vivillon. That’s it!

I’ll give credit where it’s due and I gotta say. I really like how the composition for each region was put together. Really makes you feel like you’re in that region. The intros are really distinct from each other. Good stuff I’ll admit

Thanks for putting all this together, its nice to see these in HD back to back. I appreciate you editing the double screen games to change the size of each screen depending on if important stuff was happening, DS games are always annoying to edit.

I like gen 4 but I love gen 5 more. Too my gen 5 was the most underrated Pokemon game of all.but it now getting the appreciation it deserves after all these years.

Just here for the nostalgia of my childhood, teens and now… in my late 20s 💖🥺 I’ll honestly never let go of Pokémon, it’s forever a part of me!
My favorite intro is Ruby and Sapphire. It feels incredibly nostalgic, even though I've never played it in my life

I remember playing Pokemon Sapphire, Ruby, Emerald, FireRed and LeafGreen when I was 4 to 6 years. Still crying about remembering them old days with my gameboy and I had no idea what I was doing when I these game. Plus, I really gave respect to the 1st Gen and my favorite is the 3rd,4th and 5th Gen.
I had the same experience. My parents got Ruby for me in a bundle with a blue GBA and a black carrying case with Rayquaza on it to keep me occupied on my first flight when I was 4 years old, and I was hooked even though I was of course very bad at it. I had a great experience about a year and half ago, though, when I resumed my old Ruby save file and finally beat it after so many years. I had a lot to overcome because of mistakes I made as a 4-year-old. And I just have to share this-I caught Regirock with a Dive Ball, lol.
My favorite is Gen 7. USUM.

My two favorite menu screens are Diamond/Pearl/Platinum and BW2.
The former is suspenseful as hell while the latter is epic as hell.

Emerald forever. It was my last game played in my GBA SP and i really enjoyed it. The next Pokémon generations Will be played in an emulator

So glad someone made this video depicting all titles. i started as a young Gen 1 PKMN trainer with the Blue version and this reminds me of how much I like playing these games. FireRed, Ruby (original), Silver/Soulsilver, Diamond, and Black 2 are definitely my favorites.

Pokémon is really kicking it this year with Sword and Sheild
My favorites have to be DPP, HGSS, B/W and B/W 2
I also love the title screens of DPP, B/W and B/W 2, especially the latter two and how the Legendaries are framed, in the B/W Title screens Reshiram and Zekrom are shown as polar opposites, with Black showcasing how majestic Reshiram looks and White showing Zekrom as more brutish, this is most evident at 22:30, then in B/W 2 they double down on this with Black Kyurem and White Kyurem, Black Kyurem is hunched over and it simply looks powerful, while White Kyurem is standing upright :D
