Omg! 1st of all, you're naturally beautiful.😍 2nd, do you comb out your ends to achieve that look or they just haven't loc'd yet, and if not, do you plan to? And what point rotation do you do? I love the volume.

thank you queen 🥺🤎 initially i did think i would be combing them out as apart of my routine but i haven’t done it once. i really do enjoy the curly ends so maybe i will start to comb them to keep them from loc’ing. i interlock with a 2 point rotation for max volume.

I love your videos, I actually just did my Microlocs this last weekend and I’ve been using the 2 Pt rotation to interlock my roots.
How long should I wait to wash my hair? I did two strand twist and my hair is like 3 inches long…I’m scared to put my hair under the water like you did lol

      thank you queen!
i’d suggest waiting for at least 4 weeks unless you’re scalp is tooo itchy. in the beginning i did braid and band my locs for wash day. braided them into sections and used a spray bottle with diluted shampoo to wash then rinsed in shower and left the braids in until my locs were completely dry

A lot of people say to band the hair before washing. Do tou notice a lot of unraveling since you nit banding your hair?

i would definitely recommend banding your locs in the beginning stages to prevent unraveling. i did experience some but i learned ways to minimize it.
basically i would wash my hair, add oil and then just let it dry without a lot of manipulation.
but if you don’t mind going the extra mile to prevent unraveling definitely braid and band.

i think i waited about 4 weeks, right before my first retightening to wash my hair with shampoo. although after about a week of installing my twists i was steaming and wetting my hair in the shower often.
