i had a dream the other night. i had been praying for deliverance from homosexuality... and in this dream i was holding a bowl of dirty water (grayish tint) and me and jesus (couldn't see his face but i knew it was him) he tappped me on the shoulder and he grabbed the bowl and poured it out onto the drain.. and as of 2 days ago my homosexual desires are GONE. i even tried to look at a man (my old celeb crush) and it didn't do nothing for me.. i didn't feel that same "spark" when you look at someone that look good. im finally free.

@abnormaliyswaggy4206you sound like you have the holy spirit in your life seriously, because you are convicted with right and wrong and sometimes we forget its not of our own power to give it up but God's power, we must trust in him and let him have our sins, us doing it on our own or fighting our flesh will never save us, im a straight male and ive suffered with porn addictions, so i know, its the flesh we fight against and the devil, we gotta trust God and give it all to him, pray to him as much as you can, ask for forgiveness, mercy, strength, as you repent you will see a difference, if you fall dont take it too hard, get back up and do it again, God will deliver you, you have to learn to give it up, wont come instantly like some, big weapon against it is fasting and definitely staying in scripture.

@Daquanjones819 i always knew that I wasn't living in Gods will for my life but after i got baptised and asked the Holy Spirit to change me, I had no more desire to live that life. It was difficult to let go emotionally of my partner, but Jesus helped me. Nothing that I did, only what Jesus did. All i did was ask Jesus to deliver me.. and He did. 🙏

I hear of people telling these stories, but I have never met someone in which this is actually the case. I have also never met or seen a verified case online. The attraction doesn’t change in every case that I’ve seen. I have prayed this prayer, as well as begged relentlessly at times in my life, but I am still only attracted to men. Are used to see videos like this, and feel so defeated, rejected, and unloved, because I believed the video and thought that because God did not want me to change, I was not meant to be a Christian. I believe in and love Jesus. He changed my heart, delivered me from addiction, crime, and many other ailments, but I am still attracted to men, and only men.
Keep praying and one day out of nowhere God will deliver you❤
You need to seek Jesus further, have you prayed and fasted about it? For some people the enemy will not make it easy for you to get out you have to fight! So fight! Stop focusing on what isn't but what is! We are already redeemed by the cross! Fight on your knees, read the Word, deny your flesh until all that is left is the Father.

I state how God delivered me from my life of crime, pain and sorrow and also mention that I have prayed relentlessly about this, and your asking if I have prayed and fasted. I have not only prayed occasionally; this issue has shifted my entire life’s path and I believe I am closer to God now than I would have been if I were straight. Once you get past the denial, devastation, and confusion (because you know how you feel, but you KNOW Jesus is real and pure), you start to ponder things that you probably wouldn’t if you weren’t in this predicament. Sure, I would LOVE to have even a slightest bit of attraction to even ONE woman, enough to be in a healthy relationship, but that doesn’t seem to be my path. Instead, I’ve stayed single and focus on getting closer to God every day.
All I am saying is that we should not be using one’s attraction as a gauge for their faith, because it isn’t validated in Science, Biblically, or anecdotally.

What this video is simply speaking on is the power of agreement. There is a power in your words lining up with what God's desires are (especially when spoken in faith). That's a revelation by itself. Ask Christ to give you revelation on the power of your words and the power of agreement.
Being born again does not mean your desires go away. We still live with a sin nature, we still fall into sin. Being born again does mean you now have a way to flee temptation through Christ. But as a Christian you still have desires and temptation. Telling people God would always take away their desires just because they pray actually sets a standard of being a Christian that is not true. God does not always take away your desire. You can pray for it but you should not expect it to happen. God wants you to come to him and lay it down every day. Christopher Yuan explains this very well.
Yes I agree with you, you accepting Jesus as Lord does not take away the desires automatically. staying in Christ and meditating on His word takes away the ungodly desires.
Romans 12:2 says we are not to be conformed to the standard of this world but we are to renew our minds.

God gave us all free will. We are not robots. We have choices. The choice to follow God or follow our own flesh (all types of sin).
God loves us at our lowest and at our wrongest. As someone who was on that path before, I could still feel God's love for me. Many people in the LGBTQ community have experienced unspeakable violations (often sexual, and during childhood, myself included). Others may not know about it, but God knows - he wants to heal us all, allowing the old things to pass away and for us to reborn as new creations.
Logic and reason may not always be enough to turn to God, but just try-just try to ask him to reveal the truth to you, earnestly and listen from there. Not for the purpose of being converted, but for the purpose of being in relationship with him. From there, he will reveal more at your pace of belief and faith.

He can even though I’m still dealing with the thoughts of homosexuality I’m finding the strength not to act on it God literally showed me in the Bible ALL the scriptures in the Bible that refers to homosexuality and I didn’t know it was that many, he showed me where I was going wrong and I just got a burning desire at age 39 to change my lifestyle. I know it’s wrong, always knew it was wrong but never had a desire to change it now I do

I remember when I was 13 I was so scared of being gay. I prayed and cried but nothing changed. I tried to kill myself because of what religion and society told me was wrong. I’m very happy to be gay today. Gay people can’t change who their attracted to. This story is dangerous. People go on and on about protecting children. Nobody protected me at 13, certainly not religion.

Christianity lies in the heart. True salvation in itself is a miracle. It takes Faith to believe what you can not see. As you grow in your faith you will start to see things differently including your attraction to the same gender. Jesus does love you and he does accept YOU just not the spirits that are attached to you. He came on earth to teach us how to walk in the spirit and he died on the cross for our sins so that we can be free from them and have a relationship with Him. What’s really scary is looking in the mirror and only seeing the physical side of yourself being blinded to what is happening spiritually. Christianity is about faith, the entire Bible is real all the stories are real you have to believe if before you can see it, that is faith.

Wow this is so crazy to me. I don’t believe this and I think it can be harmful to people that are genuinely following Christ and still have these attractions or struggles, if I may call it that. If you still have same sex attractions and you are in Christ, some of you will have them till you die, cause as Christians, there will be some struggles though it may reduce in intensity but they will always exist, as in TEMPTATIONS. You will always get tempted, and for sure homosexual desires will surely be one of them but that doesn’t make you any less HOLY than those that don’t. When this man referenced “feelings of the old man”, is he saying he doesn’t have temptations of what he used to be involved with before?? Cause that’s what I believe he implied. As Christians, you will definitely still have those “feelings of the old man”, at least you will be tempted to act on them, it’s not because Christ is not working on you but it’s because you are HUMAN. I’m not trying to downplay anything but him saying “he woke up the next morning and those feelings were gone” doesn’t sound so believable to me cause it’s making it seem like it’s one demonic possession or suppression when it’s infact just a sin. Homosexuality is not one extra ordinary sin that requires a dramatic deliverance or exorcism lol, what makes it so different from it’s counterpart “heterosexuality” which y’all will call LUST in its sinful context. Just like LUST or any other sin, it’s something you may or may not struggle with for the rest of your life even when you are sound in Christ. Christ will help you to live healthier with it or may eventually help you not to struggle with it anymore but I’m just saying that shouldn’t be your focus, your focus should be CHRIST and his manifestation in you. I don’t know about this Guy , but for me I simply ask God what he want from me what he wants me to do.
A few shot weeks later my life was changed it’s almost 6 years this October. I was in a adulterous relationship I got out of it in an instant never look back . I don’t drink alcohol smoke party , wear revealing clothes anymore.
No desire to be who I use to be . And it happen quite quickly.
6 years and counting , going backwards is not an option I have.
My belief is God change me and it’s forever regardless of my circumstances in this life .
Being gay is not just about LUST. It’s spiritual, genuine connection to another person. It’s not only about their body parts it’s about who they are inside that you fall in love with. I’m so tired of hearing that… being gay is not a temptation or a sin just as much as being straight isn’t. Promiscuity? Yeah that’s a no… love, marriage commitment? That’s a yeah… you can be gay and have that commitment to someone and it’s a spiritual feeling. Because whether if you’re gay or straight, you’ll never feel happy hooking up with strangers.. it’s by being with someone who loves and cares for you deeply in a romantic and sexual way and you for them. It all began with going to a prayer group in person at 3am. We would pray for an hour with other people. God worked amazingly in our lives. Well during that one month of doing that prayer once a week, God worked in me. And well I never knew what it was to be list free. Literally.. I could still lust, but it would have to be intentional, and it's like the holy Spirit has a firewall that protects your mind and heart, and you are shielded from desires of lust, porn, adultery. I literally feel like a squeaky clean saint, and im not kidding.

I have been attracted to girls for as long as I can remember, even in elementary school I wanted to marry a girl. I still feel attracted to girls at 14 but it feels different now since I gave my life to Jesus, it's no longer such a struggle because I can lean on God! I need prayer and deliverance from practicing homosexuality with men, every time I act on that feeling and desire I feel convicted and a mess. I’m a single man, I know this sounds false but when I don’t want to act on men, I would rather masterbate I rationalize the thoughts. But I know it’s still sin. Sin is sin . But I lot of days I feel weak in though fleshly desires. I feel like sometimes it an evil demonic spirit. It’s like Paul said in Roman’s 7:18-20
There’s nothing good that lives in me, for the willingness is present in me, but the doing good is not, as I’m typing this here, I acted out with a man and I feel horrible. I know that’s not who I am, a have been sexually abused as a child. My weakness is sex with men and women. Please pray for me. I don’t identify as a homosexual, almost 30y I’m in a relationship with a woman I deeply love and care about.. about 3 months ago I was hit with what therapist would call hocd or better known as today as sexual orientation ocd, a disorder that straight and gay and even bi sexual people can deal with.. I understand that this a diagnosis.. but despite all of that this disorder feels very real! Because that’s what ocd does right. But many in my shoes may question if this is real or if this is just ocd.. and if I can be completely honest I do obsess over this stuff a lot.. I’m always in my head I’m always everyday getting hit with unwanted thoughts and images homosexual to be exact.. but it started with an actual feeling that happened at work where I was around male coworkers but had felt this like unwanted urge feeling to smile as they one was approaching.. it was weird to me because it felt like this rush came through me to smile even tho I’ve known the person and seen this before multiple times before.. so I didn’t get it.. then next day it happens again around another guy at the store I didn’t understand what was going on Instantly felt like the straight man was gone and I just turned gay.. I know sounds crazy but this is how I felt I was an emotional wreck telling my girlfriend what happened.. she was telling me nothing I did was gay.. or wrong .. but it didn’t make sense why I had this unwanted feeling.. it through me off so much because it felt like it wasn’t apart of my character it wasn’t a voluntary smile.
It felt like this urge rushing through me that I couldn’t control.. so I became highly fixated on this. Everyday obsessing on what this means about me, am I changing ? Does this mean I’m gay? Does this make me gay? Evrything from that day felt off 4 months ago to be exact.. today I still get these urges.. sensations whatever.. to smile. It’s such a bad feeling when it happens because it’s like I’m being forced to do it that’s what it feels like. So everyday it gets worst I’m loosing it I’m crying, I’m telling myself I don’t want to be here no more. Because I felt and still do feel like I’m loosing myself. It feels like I’m changing out of my own will. I spend nights crying I spent night confused, suffering.. before all this happened everyday It was always on my mind to propose to my girlfriend this year and eventually start a family I was always thinking about it.. until this all happened those thoughts were completely gone. I still do want all of that but that excitement just isn’t there.. I don’t think about it as much.. so fast ware weeks later after this all started, I started getting intrusive homosexual thoughts/images.. I was getting these awake and in my sleep. I literally felt tormented and still do. It causes me to be out of work for 3 months just couldn’t even get out of bed I lost interest in the gym or work and just being around men in general because these urges would happen and they still do, or that these unwanted thoughts would start arising around them.
I know thoughts don’t define us, nor our character. But this is something so close to me and personal it’s my identity it’s my orientation, I don’t want to be homosexual, I don’t have a desire to be, I want to have a wife and kids.
But these thoughts and feelings are tormenting.. to the point that it confuses me so much and makes me feel empty and lost! I don’t find men attractive. In anyway. I get inspired by things maybe they have a nice beard and I’ll tell myself oh if I had a beard like that it would look on me, or I used to be into fitness and body building so I looked up to body builders because it motivated me gains better body.
I think general what confused me internally is the thoughts/images and these unwanted urges/sensations around men.. that make me go crazy like I’m loosing myself.
As im typing this I am lost and confused.. I know the Jesus Christ has the power to bring healing and bring inner peace. I need and want to be free from what I am going through I want to enjoy my life again I want to feel happy again and not suffer from this anymore.. I need help, any suggestion I’ll take.
