I'm Susie and I was born in Hungary. Although I used to live in the Philippines for 4 years, I spent an unexpectedly long time back in my home country due to the Pandemic.
2022 has brought the change I've been waiting for and now I'm back in the Philippines to further explore the local life and the country's beautiful destinations, food, and culture.

I miss El nido! It’s beautiful there and you’re right, the people are so so friendly and helpful. Love the Philippines cos of that ❤ Btw, next time u can soak your devices in a bucket of dry raw rice grains… apparently it helps draw out the water… but it’s more effective only if it’s immediately buried in the rice right after it got drenched…

Just a suggestion, most "Carinderia" or local food places, if they're kind enough or for a nominal fee, can prepare custom vegetable dishes for your family if you ask them a day in advance. Just a tip for vegetarians
