I love the roofline of those old Polaras. Plus the cabin area is so small compared to the rest of the car. It is a cool look, completely Chrysler and so different than new cars today.
We had a 71 Fury 3 when I was a kid, four door, but still liked it's look. Smooth ride for sure. Grocery getter 318. It was the color of the Polara in this video.

Even though the charger is smaller, it's probably still at least 3-4 hundred pounds heavier than the polara, and the polara's "built" 572 hemi and the hoosier slicks out back didn't hurt either.
it's all the electronic traction control and extra weight in the hell cat that can't put out like the old cars! BRAVO! Old beats New............... AGAIN!

Hellcat weighs a ton several actually. The polara looks like a lightened race car hence the hole shot….
Dont forget modern throttle linkage is electric so there is a second of delay opposed to the polara which is instant
