Because they want to live. They still have things to do in life. They want to keep living.

There's an easy way to achieve what they want right in front of them. All they need to do is kill someone. Their way out is right there. What does it matter if they win the class trial by exposing the killer of if they win by deceiving everyone. Someone will die either way.

But there is another way. A way out there that involves no one dying. They just need to search it together. They can't let the killing game distract them from that thought. They all need to promise it: No more killings. They're gonna get out together.

Another trial over. Another murder has happened one of their friends has betrayed them once again. But there's no way they're gonna give up hope. They're gonna search the new floor and find a way out of there. Together with their friends.
