The main reasons why they hate is because it's a 25 hour long game cramped into 12 episodes. It's too be expected but I still enjoyed being fully animated

The anime was disappointing to me. Not BAD, just bad when compared to the game. WAY too short for the story. However, this is one of the good things about the anime. I love this opening.
If the anime had 3 episodes at least per case it would be better. 1 episode of exploring the new area, meeting characters, setup. The second is rising action and murder and 3rd is the investigation and trial. It would be much better paced that way.
Yeah, I knew it was doomed from the start when I saw that episode count. I think it’s better as like a little treat for completing the game rather than a substitute for playing it.

While the anime may be rushed, I love the duality of the opening and ending theme. The opening sings about hope, and the ending sings about despair and Makoto's paranoia and his (most likely) inner thoughts throughout the killing game, which he kept hidden to himself and on the outside was always encouraging and optimistic, trying to help calm the others
other people may not like this anime but it was good enough for me to go on to watch the other two seasons and then play all the main games start to finish, currently on the third chapter of danganronpa v3
I weirdly could recognize Monokuma’s voice as the voice of Doraemon when I first watched the show with subs. I think it has something to do with me rewriting the old Doraemon show out of nostalgia a few years ago. I even thought he shared voice actors for Doraemon in the English dub. His voice sounded like Doraemon’s voice in the English dub of the mid-2000s show. It was quite surprising for me to see that he was voiced by someone different here.

tbh making the game into anime is hard especially their expectation on the episodes is only 12 or 13 within 25 to 30 minutes. the only thing i liked is the danganronpa 3 despair and future arcs. although the future arc became a little dissapoint for me at the end even the last episode hope arc, they manage the storyline sequence and its character progress especially in despair arc which i really like it. If ever they gonna make a remake or another anime game sequence that could possible be happen in the future. i am already guessing danganronpa anime will be longer in minutes and hours to watch just to manage and detailed the main events, especially in class trial where the important part of the anime.

My idea of organising episodes is: Ep 1 (introduction) Ep 2 (daily/deadly life 1) (1hr 30mins max) Ep 3 (class trial 1) (2 hrs max) Ep 4 (daily/deadly life 2) (1hr 30 mins max) Ep 5 (class trial 2) (2 hrs max) And so on.. *during the dailylife and deadly life they can combine per episode because deadly life is the shortest part in the story (purely crime investigation). *instead of cutting the class trial it would be better if this is one episode since most the nonstop debate and exiciting part should never be cease because of cut episode like part 2 or so on. *expect that per episode will be be longer than what you think in anime since I want major storyline but full detailed. * FTE will be not be part on the anime since its not necessary but other storyline like picnic or peeking hot girls might be added since we dont want the story only focus on killings. We want the bond characters relationship. *maincharacter will he not mostly focus on animation but also other characters too so that they have animation memories. Hope that works who ever read this. And kinda waste for me to think about this.
@@Nonchalantwxvz Yeah, FTES could probably be cut, or the protagonist spends a few minutes of them with one or two characters per chapter, depending on their interactions. The investigations later on however do get longer, especially Chapters 5 & 6, so dedicating an entire episode to them wouldn't be a bad idea. They could have other characters gather evidence on their own and present them before and during the trial instead of just the protagonist doing everything. I want to facepalm so hard when people ask: "Why isn't there an adaptation of V3 yet?" Because the answer should be obvious.

studio lerche's animation quality was horrible but they kept the composer and theme song is catchy they should do stuff like this more often for anime in the future
Anyone think this is better than the game opening tune? Considering I haven't actually watched it played any of the media and know all the spoilers through RUclips, I'm looking at the franchise primarily from a musical standpoint.
I don't know how's the game but personally I don't like the anime. Characters are forgetfull as well as annoying. The only one I really like from this anime is Kirigiri. Rest of them totally sucks.

tbh making the game into anime is hard especially their expectation on the episodes is only 12 or 13 within 25 to 30 minutes. the only thing i liked is the danganronpa 3 despair and future arcs. although the future arc became a little dissapoint for me at the end even the last episode hope arc, they manage the storyline sequence and its character progress especially in despair arc which i really like it.
If ever they gonna make a remake or another anime game sequence that could possible be happen in the future. i am already guessing danganronpa anime will be longer in minutes and hours to watch just to manage and detailed the main events, especially in class trial where the important part of the anime.
It should've been at least 24 episodes
@@AkameGaKillfan777 if you cut all of them per major story of the game, that would be total of 24 episodes . My idea of organising episodes is:
Ep 1 (introduction)
Ep 2 (daily/deadly life 1) (1hr 30mins max)
Ep 3 (class trial 1) (2 hrs max)
Ep 4 (daily/deadly life 2) (1hr 30 mins max)
Ep 5 (class trial 2) (2 hrs max)
And so on..
*during the dailylife and deadly life they can combine per episode because deadly life is the shortest part in the story (purely crime investigation).
*instead of cutting the class trial it would be better if this is one episode since most the nonstop debate and exiciting part should never be cease because of cut episode like part 2 or so on.
*expect that per episode will be be longer than what you think in anime since I want major storyline but full detailed.
* FTE will be not be part on the anime since its not necessary but other storyline like picnic or peeking hot girls might be added since we dont want the story only focus on killings. We want the bond characters relationship.
*maincharacter will he not mostly focus on animation but also other characters too so that they have animation memories.
Hope that works who ever read this. And kinda waste for me to think about this.
@@Nonchalantwxvz Yeah, FTES could probably be cut, or the protagonist spends a few minutes of them with one or two characters per chapter, depending on their interactions.
The investigations later on however do get longer, especially Chapters 5 & 6, so dedicating an entire episode to them wouldn't be a bad idea. They could have other characters gather evidence on their own and present them before and during the trial instead of just the protagonist doing everything.
I want to facepalm so hard when people ask: "Why isn't there an adaptation of V3 yet?" Because the answer should be obvious.
As someone who didn't like the games at all, this anime was awesome as hell

I don't know how's the game but personally I don't like the anime. Characters are forgetfull as well as annoying. The only one I really like from this anime is Kirigiri. Rest of them totally sucks.
