Looks like road has washed out since last time I run it. The first place you camped is called Cassidy camp after butch Cassidy, his signature is on a rock there. A freshwater spring is nearby. There are some petroglyhs and a cave also west of the spring.

We were on that trail 2 years ago, a lot of it was rougher then than what shows in your video. That trail is known as a "Subura Trap" because people try it in those cars then have to be towed out. It's a pretty remote place but there is a towing company in Hanksville.
I've never seen the river that low. I'm planning a trip in a month that will involve wading the river in another place so maybe there won't be much river to wade.

Poison springs is a great trail! One of our favorites around Hanksville. That is one of the best campsites along the way, we have stayed there a couple of times! Of course BLM is trying to close the trail for whatever reason😡, that aside great video👍

Did this trail in May without a trailer. After viewing this I def. will be back with my Boreas XT (behind my 4runner). Did you run into any issues with the few steep inclines going up?
