I don't want to be totally nitpicky, but the Righteous Brothers covered the song, they didn't make the original.
@@TelsMaviston it is interesting that the Righteous Brothers 1965 version is the most well known, which, as you said, is a cover of the Todd Duncan original, written by Alex North and Zy Zaret for the 1955 prison film, Unchained.

Wonderful rendition of a timeless classic.
When I was a teenager, I had a cassette tape of the Righteous Brothers top hits. I would listen to on my Walkman every night before going to bed. This is one song that I learned word for word, and sung to my wife on our honeymoon in our hotel room. I love the scenery in your video, especially the waterfall. I always think of waterfalls when I hear this song.
