Super Splitter

In this video I bring the Super Splitters into the shop for some maintenance. There are a few parts that need replacing and I'll explain the difference between the different splitter models that they offer and how to tell them apart.

I got rid of that bearing on the beam. Replaced it with teflon material, made it a half moon shape and drilled a hole. It lasts longer than I thought, slides nice and doesn't chew up the beam.

Since you have both the J and the HD, it would be nice to have your opinion on performance differences and if they’re enough to justify the extra cost.

Hi Mark. I’m not sure I can tell the difference between the two. I usually just use whichever one is handy. I’m pretty sure the HD is setup at the conveyor at the present moment. Thanks for watching!
