Please do me a favor. Can you show me close-ups of how you installed it.? I have the log lift and the splitter but no instructions. I need to see exactly where and how the stuff gets put together.
Pretty cool. I thought of getting the Split Second log lift for a few years then they discontinued it. I ended up making a linear actuator powered lift and love it so far.
What made you get the HD model over the J version. So many folks say they’re very pleased with the J? Please send me a link for where I can purchase the log lift. Thank you
I have a Split second with the log lift. You may want to put the pins that hold the log lift on from the inside out. If a piece of wood bumps them the way you have them installed they can get knocked loose.
I appreciate the insight and I will make sure my pins are in the other way this coming summer when I use it because I can imagine it would suck to have that thing fall off loaded with wood
