Good vid man. I’m a boa guy but testing the waters with some Colubrids and was very close to going for a blue beauty this past year and ended up going with a rhino rat instead after talking to a bunch of people that said they were “oof” to handle haha😂. They are beautiful like the name though!
If my filesnake (she's CB and I got her as a 4 y/o) is representative for the usual filesnake and not an odd-ball then I'd say they're a lot of fun. I can also attest to their inquisitiveness. :D Mine loves her wet-box and she actually hunts her food, even though it's frozen thawed. It's amazing to see how she'll even climb at impressive speed and throw herself at the food. It's fascinating and entertaining to watch her and I'd say it offers enrichment to her, too. Even though she's fierce with her food, she's never attempted to bite. I have to say though, she's more readily to musk in general (at least before she came to trust that I won't be eating her) and it's a more intense smell (that also goes for poop). I love my rough-scaled, curious filesnake Vai - which is why I went a bit off on a tangent here, sorry. :'D As for filesnakes being snake eaters I've heard from a breeder that you actually have to be a bit more careful when you pair them up - though I didn't ask her about her personal experience on that topic specifically so that's pretty much hearsay.
Off topic a bit, but I have a pine snake and I want to put a larger climbing log in his enclosure. What do you think is the best way to weight them down? Or should I just silicone it to the floor and side?

Silicone or use screws if it’s not a glass enclosure. Pine snakes will pull down even heavy branch’s and even rocks if they’re determined
My hognose who wasn’t even 2 years old died 2 days ago. Great pets, mine just had a really bad immune system and ended up getting sepsis.
