Delightful video! I loved watching your cucumbers grow. I’m getting to the end of my outdoor cucumbers and thinking that maybe I might want to grow cucumbers indoors, so I was wanting to see examples of how people set it up indoors. Thanks for sharing your process. Congratulations on a beautiful harvest.

Wait I thought Kratky was a purely passive method of hydroponics, is using air pumps not DWC? (I have just started my journey and am using the passive method hence the confusion over this video) Aside from that cuc's are definitely one of my crops I am going to be growing eventually :) Do you not need to cross polinate cucs or am I thinking of chillis

Hi and thanks for the questions, I’ve built it myself and it’s called the Kratky Air 2. Soo there is no confusion for me. It’s simply a kratky system with an air stone, and you can call it what you want! They are many different types of growing hydroponically. So choose the one that works best for you! Passive or non-passive…. Just remember keep it simple (seed+water+light=growth)

@@HYDROPONICS-INDOORS I definitely did not mean to send any shade your way, only confused because as i said i have just started, a week ago after they had started to grow I have done some bell peppers into a resovoir and have juts today put some parsley in so am total newbie (I feel so guilty discarding all the baby seedlings that I can not use, already planted a load into standard soil pots so I am murdering them all lol). I am currently trying to work out how I am gonna hang my lights but for now the lousy Scottish summer sun is doing the job. For the moment also just using all in one hydroponic juice, will be getting seperate stuff as I go on. I chose the passive one cause I am a lazy old fart lol.
Does cucs need to be manually polinated?

None shade taken LOL as far as the cucumber seeds, they are different types that you can purchase. I purchased the type of seeds that you don’t need to pollinate because I grow indoors. I am also an old fart and that’s why I keep it simple I suggest you do more research online and RUclips to gain further knowledge of growing hydroponically. I hope this helps you God bless and happy hydroponics.
