At that rate, it appears that it will take several years before I reach the payout threshold for any coin I have been mining. I have my settings to mine via my cpu. Often the GPU is a lot better at mining than your CPU. If you have a dedicated GPU in your system, set it to that. Besides that, closing all your things running in the background, can help. If the i7 is of an older generation, that can off course also have an impact

To clear any confusion, Solana is not actually mineable as it is PoH. Basically you are mining ETH or BTC and its being converted to Solana. It seems more effective than mining ETH as the gas prices are absurd. Also Microsoft flags any miner as a Trojan horse. Don't be alarmed by this. If this bothers you. Mining is not for you.
Downloading unmineable installed phoenix miner and that program won’t stop running even when I stop it in the unmineable window. I had to uninstall everything in order for it to stop mining. This is normal?
Great video, I did download and followed all of the instructions but I'm getting a constant error of No CUDA driver found when using CPU instead of GPU...on GPU I cant use the computer at all since I'm running a VEGA 8 not for gaming, The Hash rate was a 0 on GPU but when switched over to CPU I'm getting 461. to about 480..don't know if that's good or not enough. But keep getting error and 0.000, but I can hear the fans loud meaning the CPU has a good load but don't know if its actually mining

Im testing it yesterday on 6 Mining rigs with a hashrate of about 200 MHs, but it doesn´t work correctly. If i´m mining eth with nicehash or minerstat miner i´ll have mhs from about 200. if i use the Unmineable miner i´ll have only about 80 mhs with ethash mining for solana. So that makes no sence to me to mine solana. The Best option here is to swap my mined ETH to Solana later. But the question is, why there is so a big increase of hashrates when I´m mining solana with the Unmineable miner?

Delete McAfee and just use windows defender. I think 'anti virus' programs are pretty pointless now a days. They slow your pc down and cause problems with connections. No real workaround apart from this 😅

It should be measured overtime. The sol you mine today will be worth much more in 2 months+staking. Hell i dare say 300$ is even on the low end of the spectrum. But it's all depending on gear ofc.

Everything sets up fine untill I start the mining. Pc goes to slideshow even moving mouse is slideshow screen crashes etc. Am I doing anything wrong?

You have to update your gpu driver. It's a nvidia driver. Vega 8 is a amd card.

ETH is going to a proof of stake model. Meaning you can no longer mine, and will have to stake to create.

It won't be much, but it can certainly help a bit. But if you do it 24/7 it can ruin your pc.

You can do so as well but there is a minimum withdraw limit for all the coins. One you reach the limit you can.
