The meat of sacrificed animals on Eid is distributed among poor and animal's skin is donated for charity works so it so animal slaughter on Eid is not a superstitious ritual but an act of charityand showing Allah that we can sacrifice ourselves too in his path.
If you are referring to Qurbani then that is right, animals were created to be eaten. We Muslims slaughter animal swiftly cutting the jugular vein with sharp knife. Some Hindus clandestinely eat beef . But animals should not be killed for pleasure only to be slaughtered for food

We dont just slaughter them like that . The knife should be sharp And we shouldn't kill an animal near another one to avoid the animal to be stressed or to suffer . And we don't rip off the head we dont cut the spine so the animal can have post-mortem reaction . And so limite the suffering by only cutting the main arteries so it bleeds faster and loose awareness in around 15 secondes . Its different.

I would agree with you killing any sentient being for consumption is wrong. Specially as humans who can decide between right and wrong. I just want you to realise how hypocritical it is commenting on other cultures who have they're way of justifying eating meat but people in the west stuffing they're faces with MacDonald and KFC is some how just. The amount of animals being killed for consumption in the west doesn't even compare to what is being showed.

They're slaughtering innocent animals to appease their fake deities and think that it will solve problems, something as stupid as getting bad vs good grades.
