When you lose a fight, don't give excuses. Just accept it.
Joshua's guys like Hearn said Joshua was sick, didn't take Ruiz serious as he was training for Miller, that maybe they should have cancelled and not fought Ruiz, all kinds of excuses as well for fight #1. However, Joshua was in shape physically at least and trained. Ruiz now is making his excuses, but we can easily see it was not a physically fit fighter and that he let himself go for fight #2 and form the dad and trainers interviews and day in the life videos all on youtube, you can see Ruiz did not come ready for fight #2.

It is not an excuse, but a fact that the guy was a moron, blew up by eating and no training. Now I hope he has to go in and beat guys like Ortiz or Whyte or others to work his way back up, we shall see if he will go back and train or just retire a millionaire happy with KOing Joshua once and being champ for 6 months.

I hear you, but sorry I can't accept that it was a lesser version of him, because it was him and he was fully fit to fight. That is my only perception. He showed up and got beat and AJ put on a boxing master class which I enjoyed. All I am taking away is that Ruiz lost and AJ won with a great performance. The same as when AJ lost, people are analizing reasons or excuses for the loss, but AJ is just adamant that the better man won. That's to be respected.

Food ,training gear etc. They let him go cause he was too lazy and kept eating and eating tacos, smoking weed and drinking.
