Now we hear The problem. These so called “friends”. Partying, eating and not being a real friend. Because real friends would’ve kept Andy focused. Im a Joshua fan but respect Andy Ruiz JR. A Humble dude and good boxer. But he fucked it up.
I mean this was the story of the last fight. Joshua over looked Andy and didn’t focus. Every Joshua says he didn’t take him seriously. This time Andy got caught up.
Pride comes before a fall. Everyone loves a winner, and the Hollywood crowd comes around when you're on top. The lust of the flesh and the pride of life always fades away. Hollywood will fill your head full of lies, then abandon you when it all comes crashing down on you. I hope he learns this valuable lesson and sticks by the people who really love him from now on, and give no place to the culture and the Hollywood crowd as they are all headed for destruction anyway. He would have lost anyway and I don't believe that he will ever beat Joshua again. Joshua did exactly what it takes to always beat a smaller man who has shorter arms. He will never let a guy that much smaller get in close again. Wilder did the same thing to Ortiz, it's very basic, Ortiz rushes in, Wilder extends his arms to keep the distance and throwing a punch isn't needed to do that. A.J. took it a step further where at times, you see him use the extended left hand to control Ruiz's head without even throwing a punch at Ruiz. It's acting like a Matador, stepping away and to the side while doing this as the other man charges in. Vasyl Lomachenko does it a lot. Control the head and you control the man.
California T Style you like honesty? How About Donald Trumps Honesty.. he’s a man and speaks frankly and honestly.. by your Name California you prolly like liberals Honest which is nothing but Fuxking Lies.. yet you Like Ruiz Father Honesty .. men speak honestly and frankly regardless Of who the truth hurts..
I think Marvelous Marvin Hagler once said something to the effect, “it’s hard to get up at 4 in the morning to do road work when you go to bed in silk pajamas.” Sounds like Ruiz is learning that the hard way.
@Carl Mannerheim It doesn't really matter I'm just saying it's literally verbatim Teddy Atlas and he's making it sound like Aw yeah I remember hagler said this back then as if he's some kind of boxing historian
A good lesson? He made the biggest upset in recent history, became unified champion and then came in even more overweight than he already was, admitted to not commuting and said he partied to much, if he couldn’t do it for this fight then that’s it now. He made a lot of money in this fight as well so I don’t see him fighting for a long time
I like Andy. But you're right. Truth is truth. Simple as that. He should have come in 10 pounds UNDER his first fight weight. 258 would still be a big boy at 6'1. His feet were slow as molasses at 283+. What good is having fast hands if you're dragging around 30 pounds of extra weight. He was over 300 easy when they shot the first promo video for the rematch. So in his mind he lost weight from there, but that's a ridiculous weight for him.
gene thomas he just let the fame and friends get to him. He had never experienced anything like that so he got hot headed. Joshua went into the ring prepared and “hungry” as he says. Andy forgot that he had to defend the titles and got caught up with the fame. If Andy would of prepared better at least to the level that Joshua did, we would of had ourselves a hell of a fight. Just like in the first fight Joshua got too comfortable and got kO’d. This time it was the other way around. Andy is a hell of a fighter he just needs to listen to his coaches and his dad and stick to his training.
The Awakening Mind 💯 % agree, He had the opportunity to DEFEND what he had been working so hard for. He had the opportunity to show everyone that his title win against Joshua wasn’t pure luck. I think Andy needs to go back to the drawing board and re set. As for Joshua on to the next one to DEFEND the title!
Ruiz has plenty of talent and can comeback. He needs to fight Ortiz, Chiroso, Whyte, Dubois or another real contender and win before he gets another title shot.
IncarnaComicsMedia.com I disagree with 💯 Andy is still a destroyer, did you not see scary as aj when Andy would land ? Dude replay fight in slow mo. Dude Andy for not being disciplined he took a lost but look at the story same happened to aj. And he got a rematch ANDY DESERVES A REMATCH !!! TIT FOR TAT!! Name of the game. Come on you guys can’t right Andy off !!! Andy is dangerous as hell and bad ass loose his twenty five pounds stay active he will come back!!!!
Deffo! But when you’re feeling yourself you run behind the yesmen instead of your loved ones that are telling you the truth. Ruiz will learn and hopefully listen now

He is a legend. Nothing but respect. Makes me happy people see him like that. I personally would have probably OD’d in Vegas with a needle in my arm. There are no such thing as a 50 million dollar loser coming from a story like his especially from Imperial Valley.
@@youngstayoung6633 I have to disagree Ruiz is still young. I am not going to lie and say that I wanted him to win because I live in the UK and AJ is our Champ but Ruiz is a beautiful boxer and this time around he didn't put in the work. Ruiz will get another chance at a world title.
But guys.... If I totally stuff my face, until I can't even stomach a wafer thin mint, maybe I could down a four pound meal. Obviously athletes eat a lot, and yeah, heavyweights are big guys.... But 8 pounds!, before a fight! That's like, 72 snicker bars.
Vaping alcohol is especially dangerous because it allows you to inhale large quantities of alcohol over a short time period, mimicking binge drinking. This puts you at high risk for alcohol poisoning. If you decide to consume alcohol, it's probably best to stick with drinking it instead of inhaling or vaping it.
Andrew. Before the fight His dad was saying that his overweight situation was part of the strategy.. And this confirm that was a total lie.. It contradicts himself.. But anyways is his son.
Why would Ruiz gain so much weight on one of his most difficult and risky fights? This fight doesn't warrant a rubber match in my opinion. I could understand if Andy Ruiz came in shape and the fight was close but lost, at least that warrants a rubber match.
he can still get high level opponents like ortiz or whyte, hell he might even get the parker rematch (and yes ik the parker match was extremely controversial)
Hes still young. As he would say its a blessing. He could retire if hes satisfied. Or he can bounce back better. Joshua is a guy that was blowing out guys . The best he could do vs ruiz was points win. Its rock paper scissors. Joshua chose the right plan.

Donnie Cain He’ll get his shot. Might even win his belts back. But he’s never going to have the world rooting for him the way they were last night. Why...? He's never had this much money in his life...this is what people who aren't used to this level of fame do. His own father said so. Hopefully he will learn from this and get grounded like AJ did.
En Harmony but all the money and the fame only came because he won! So if you want the money and the fame you make sure you work your hardest and do everything to win. AJ has been dealing with the money and fame for years and still works hard every camp. Same with wilder same with fury, same with mike Tyson. He doesn’t have the mentality to be a champions
The world does not really motivate anybody. His motivation should have been those children (his children) that he was able to give a better life because of the first win. That should have motivated him to do his possible best to make sure the better life he has given them lasts for a long period. Instead he got carried away partying and eating like a glutton. If those children could not make Ruiz hungry to keep winning then nothing else can. He doesn't deserve a rematch

When you cash a cheque close to £50 million in the bank for the 1st fight, then obviously, you not gonna really be bothering about winning the rematch. Ruiz did well going the distance with the extra weight.
I was rooting for Ruiz, but he needs to get in line now and prove he deserves a rematch by taking another opponent first. if he was in shape and made the fight debatable, then he should get a rematch, but this was a bad look.

Andy might have a humble looking smile but, he thought he was the Baddest man, didn’t train properly, and we saw the result.

I feel the same way. Disappointed. He has all the skills, but not the champion mindset. It's a shame. Why would AJ give him another title shot?
gene thomas he just let the fame and friends get to him.
That’s the key word man “seemed”. It’s the illusion that sells $$.
The Awakening Mind 💯 % agree, He had the opportunity to DEFEND what he had been working so hard for. He had the opportunity to show everyone that his title win against Joshua wasn’t pure luck. THE REAL DUTCH VAN DER LINDE Just like yourself mate, you loved Author Morgan but then you had the man killed........ HYPOCRITE! 😡
Ruiz is still a good fighter but he disrespected everybody and his fans by not taking this serious
I appreciate his father's honesty. I find it hard to believe the heavyweight champion was in such poor condition. The first fight was inspiring and the second fight was embarrassing. Sorry but at 8:20 Fury would destroy Ruiz. I lost all confidence in Ruiz. He was so fat he couldn't move.
What with no power🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
see what happens to his "homies" they will disappear mark my words
They ain't going nowhere until he is fat broke or cut them off
Andy still has a lot a money specially with all of the ppv records and he getting a cut from the Mexico PPV. Those homies ain't stupid and ain't going no where. The party is just getting started.
Snakes the lot of them for sure!
Nah bro, we Mexicans have many homies.....rich or poor
Sur-I was like you ganna get me that lowrider carnal?Ruiz-after the fight will talk...(Ruiz took is L)Sur-Fuck that foo...Yo Mares you dont come to the hood anymore...Yo my kid needs to go to private school a litle help carnal? You do a great job at PBC bruh.
His dad is A1 good perspective on what happened.
Andy's "Friends" in spanish are called Gorrones. Which means freeloaders.
That's fucken the true
Yep. Wait until he's broke and see who his real friends are.
😂🤣😂🤣
Dead ass he needs to see who his real friends are and cut the rest
andy ruiz is the mexican buster douglas
Andy lacks the discipline, he won't ever get those belts back trust me
Joshua Kohn nope, esp because wilder or fury will have them by the time he can get back in the mix
Oh he will be dodged hard for the rest of his career. Fury might fight him later cuz he’d box his head off.
Benjamin Buor fury and wilder would toy with his fat ass
MunsonMAN joshua is a better boxer than wilder, look at the second ortiz wilder fight. wilder is not a good boxer, he just has a fucking cannon for an arm. joshua has the ability to put box him and knock him out. however, fury vs joshua would be a tough one. personally i think fury would out box joshua, an would have to knock him out.
@@lewisg4673 you have a point but remember aj only looks so good boxing cause he usually has the size advantage. Against wilder he'd get hit and he'd fall and get finished. Remember wilder doesn't care about losing rounds because of that arm cannon. He's getting better and i honestly think he let ortiz get to the 7th cause he just wanted the ring time. The man threw like what 3 right hands in 6 rounds lol.
Ruiz would do well to listen to his dad who seems like a great guy.
His so called friends don't sound like they have his best interests at heart.
