The only reAson for a time machine to be made
Right! Exactly!
with a time machine I would never travel to the future - only to the past: the 60s the 70s and the 80s and maybe to the early 90s to see Nirvana
The crowd shots look fucking insane, it looks like a jungle of bodies out there
I feel like nothing gets you more hyped to rock the hardest you possibly can than being a performer and looking out to the crowd at 0:38 and seeing the most absolute savage crowd
These guys were born to be metal gods
I watch this video all the time. It reminds me of how heavy metal once dominated music and how people couldn't get enough of it. This day in time, you go to a hard rock/metal concert and about 90% of the crowd stands lifeless and silent like a bunch of corpses. I guess the good ole days couldn't last forever.
You got that right
Smart phones, chicks typing messages, at least 70% of the crowd knows only Nothing Else Matters,Enter Sandman and Unforgiven..Sad but True...
Milan I see what you did there...
And I know, it’s been 4 years... XD
You are most definitely wrong, there are still some wild af shows, just not the ones by the biggest bands in the world lmfao
@@bondedbybud1151 late, but definitely true. prime example: ragers Lmfao
This is the best version of this song in my opinion. YEAH!!!
For sure. I can find none better. They nailed it this night all the way through. Must be good coke in Seattle LOL
Have you heard the version with Cliff Burton :D
YES IT IS !!!!
Tống Giang Yes i have but still. :D
Who here likes the S&M version?
The amount of amazing songs this band has put out in just crazy. So many good fuckin songs. If they did a greatest hits album they would have to put their discography on one disc.
I remember getting this with the Box Set for Christmas in 93 (I think) I loved this show so much I went to my cousins house and we dubbed it from video to cassette so we could listen in the car.
58 dislikes? Even if fucking Jesus himself listened to this, there still shouldn't be any dislikes.
True Mike:-)
damn straight
jack caugh Morrans:-) Have a nice sunday bloody sunday:-)
I can't hear this killer sound in new concert videos. Am i the only person who feels this?
Ofcourse its awesome! But why did you have to add 'fucking' while saying Jesus. Do you think its cool to say that? Or is it gay to love & respect Jesus?
it's videos like this that i can never forget. I remember buying the live shit box set with my birthday money when I was 13 in 1996..metallica was so epic back in those days. that's why it kills me to hear ppl say metallica sux and metallica is posers and sellouts...everyone has an oppinion on things they've done from the mid 90s on...but just from what they did here alone that deserves to put them near the top of any all time metal list period and anyone who don't think so is out of touch with reality
Just an opinion: They are still as epic as they used to be long ago. It's true that they have become a little soft and slow but their live shows are still electrifying. You can ride the lightning, seek and destroy anything in your way, be a master of puppets! Nothing else matters!
@@PromodhNirmal there shows in 2022 are completely epic again! Lars is on point Kirk is too James’s vocals are incredible even rob is amazing rn
0:38
“Look there’s Dave right there!”
Best live recorded version of this song PERIOD. No dis to Cliff in Oakland in '85 but Newsted in Seattle '89 killed it!!!!!
4:50 Kirk just communicating with aliens, no biggie lol
kinda messes with your head when you see these 20 year olds bouncing around, full of life, having a ball (in the crowd), and realize they're either now near, or in their 50s
thatguy088 true😂
If I had access to a time machine, this would be where I'd go. To live this concert..I saw them live this summer in sweden but damn, if I could experience this show I could die happy. Amazing does not even begin to describe this band.
85 and 89 performances have been the Absolute best, I've been returning back here over and over again I can't get enough of Seattle 89.
My friend, who is into modern metal such as: Metalcore, New Metal, Black Metal, and Death Metal etc. told me Metallica has the worst vocals, and that The Big 4 had the worst out of all the metal bands... Told him to watch this the other day... At least it shut him up!! \m/
sounds like a metal hipster...I guess they will always exist
+Tikitackfouls yeah he hates on Metallica all the damn time
+Nicholas Guerrero maybe the best trash metal of all times...
+Nicholas Guerrero Tell your elitist friend to shut up. None of his music would be around without those bands.
He's right about Anthrax sucking.
Lars' fills were amazing, Kirk was on spot with solos, Jason killed it, James' voice was just amazing.
La persona que tenga este gusto musical, con toda confianza y gusto es mi bro! Viva Metallica
this will forever be their best performance of this song
That's how you tune a fucking snare \m/
Like fucking cannons firing.. fuck I wanna be here
by far the best live of the song here on YT...old style Metallica Kickin' ass
Francis Begbie it's good but not as good as the definitive version with cliff
Nostallica at his best!!!
Francis Begbie The best version of the song is Cliff em all from 85 go check it out.
I lay my eyes on James. And he looked so much better here than ´85. Not a kid - a man. :)
Seen my boys twice in '89. Knoxville and Chattanooga. I was 14!!! Shaped my whole world.
Love the metal mullets they’re rockin. Their music was epic then and still epic now.
James' voice... holy shit.
Damn Lars u are fucking great
There’s never a day or scenario where that opening bell toll doesn’t make me feel like I’m unstoppable. An absolute fucking masterpiece of a song. Long live Metallica
This blows the studio version away by a mile. I hate how slow the studio version is
Thomas C. Studio version is good but yeah all the live versions blow away the studio versions
My brother in law was at this concert. Went to see The Cult and "stayed for Metallica". Been a Metallica fan ever since and he passed that on to me. Thank God for that.
I listen to a lot of music genre, but this is still the best and most intense intro to a song I have ever listened too! How could u not love it!!
The whole live is a pure moment of awesomeness and perfect musicianship.
I watch this at least once a day just to get pumped
1981-1992.The best years of modern era music.What a coincidence, I wasn't born then.🙃
James voice back then !!
Holy sh*t it was good
