How to Make A Spalted Epoxy Coutertop

This is a Project I have been meaning to get edited for a while now.Better late than never though. What do you guys think? I love how the colors In the Spalted Magniolia came out. Might try to do another one in the future.

I was wondering what you used to seal the bottom and if Total Boat is a special type of epoxy that works better with pores, spalted woods? I’ve made a couple spalted pecan tables and the epoxy absorption was never ending and expensive! It just kept soaking up the ecopoxy is what I believe I was using? Thanks!
