    You are absolutely correct to address the vertical tear first. I have seen a lot of left and right tears disappear when you fix the up and down first.

    Back in the late 80’s I shot an old cougar speed flight, moved to Florida and life changed. Now Lovin Iowa,Yesterday 1/29/2023 I purchased a Mathews phase 4 33. Came across your channel and you are AMAZING!! THANKYOU for the great videos! I look forward to watching more!

    One problem. You need to take the vanes off the arrow….

      Yes, to bare shaft tune. However I prefer to paper tune with the vanes over bare shaft tuning because taking them off changes FOC & arrow dynamics effecting the way it flys.

      Bare shaft is a recurve tuning method and that’s where it comes from. Paper tune with fletched and broadhead tune each arrow is a winner. Gilligan showed on a video that he bareshaft paper tuned 12 arrows, fletched them and the tune changed for each arrow. Waste of time.
