  • This pistol confused more than a few of my friends and customers.
Today we are going to review one of the best versions of the Beretta 92 series pistols. The Beretta 92 Elite LTT, but there is a twist! Even though this one is marked with all the ‪@LangdonTactical‬ markings, this pistol is not a Langdon Tactical custom shop pistol. Don't worry I will explain everything in the review...
IF you would like to know more about Langdon Tactical, the website link will be listed below. LTT is based out of Phoenix Arizona, the LTT custom shop has a full line up of services to customize your current beretta pistol, or you can but one of their amazing custom shop firearms.

I paid 770 for the same pistol. I love it.

Being in AZ and have had guns go to LTT and have MANY of their parts in my Berettas, the only true LTT pistols are from them. The Beretta Elites, the the PX4ccs, etc are not LTTs. Great stuff, but not from them. Especially the Elites (which have been long discontinued). I realized this stuff when I bought a PX4 compact carry. It's great, but it didn't have the LTT trigger bar, the D spring, etc. Still awesome though. I simply bought the parts and installed them. And you CAN get a LTT from LTT for less than $1300. They're not gun snobs. They just wanna make better Berettas. And want to make better Berettas where as many people can buy them as possible.

Sounds like we're comparing the base-model Beretta factory LTT to the top-of-the-line, hand-tuned model from the Langdon shop.

  • @user-bw3ec1bp4m

    Not all Langdons have np3

  • @scottclaiborne5123

Are you able to use a Safariland ALS holster with the 92 style guns? With x300 or other light?

  • @richardsnyder3297

I bought one of these new for $850. I already owned the Centurion and Compact versions that came from Langdon with the full trigger jobs. Yes, there is a difference but the licensed version from Beretta is still a fine gun. I did one simple thing to it and that was to order the Performance Trigger Bar from Langdon and install it. That substantially improved the reset and general operation of the trigger. It is definitely worth keeping in my mind.

The trigger job they do over at Langdon Tactical is pretty good and noticeable, but I will say the trigger job in a bag kit with NP3 internals does 90% of it. Owning both an actual LTT from his shop, and my M9A1 I turned into a faux langdon, I can say that unless you're a very big fan of custom high end pistols, most people are better off buying a cheaper Beretta and upgrading it themselves.

i got my 92 Elite LTT Centurion directly from langdon. i got every option available including the cut and crown barrel..its a whole different class above the beretta that borrows the langdon name. and you pay for it, but its worth every penny.

So your price is the indicator? Not markings, a serial number run, or the code on the box? Langdon offers multiple packages on his site as well. Not all LTT guns are full treatment. You said a whole lot of nothing in 7mins man.

Do the Beretta made models still hv LTT as the first 3 digits of the serial number?

This is a better pistol than a Staccato P and frankly one of the best pistols on the market. Fight me.

As a massive fan of all 92 variants, you’re spot on. One of the only ppl I’ve heard explain this correctly. Just as the Wilson Beretta’s are made by Beretta and aren’t “custom guns” as ppl think. To back you up, I have the same Elite LTT Centurion. It’s a great 92. HOWEVER, for the price, I think the quasi new 92x’s are as good and cost a few hundred less. Upgrading a 92’s trigger is very easy and will cost around $150 in parts. I picked up a 92x full size shipped for $630 and was lucky to get a sick deal on the LTT for $760 (both pre Covid 1984). Currently the 92x’s are still $650-700 but the Elite LTT’s jumped back up to $1k. I installed the same internals in both guns (the Langdon Tactical trigger bar, Wilson stainless fluted guide rod and chrome silicon flat wire recoil spring, 13# Wilson chrome silicon hammer spring, etc... the main components LTT uses in their non NP3’d custom trigger job) and the trigger results are identically fantastic and similar in both (about a 7lb DA and 3.5lb SA). My point? The upgrades Beretta made to the 92x have everything you could want in a 92 except the Elite II hammer (which I also installed) all for a price point $300 less than the Elite LTT’s. I’m happy w the Elite LTT, but I would sooner buy another 92x over another Elite LTT or Wilson and do the same upgrades for $150. You’d be buying a gun of equal quality while saving hundreds picking up a stock 92x vs an Elite LTT. The Wilsons do have some extra upgrades (like their guide rod, springs, and mag guide) but in no way justify their $1250-1500 price tag. Just my humble opinion. Solid vid 👊🏼🗽

They have licensed dealers as well - I just got mine from Omaha Outdoors - LTT Elite with the trigger job, beveling and smoothing.

This is very deceiving imo by Beretta. I bought a Langdon 92 from a LGS and didn’t know there was a LTT that was not officially a Langdon. I first heard of it on 1911 syndicate channel actually. I emailed Langdon with the serial numbers and they confirmed it was one of theirs luckily, however many people I’m sure bought an LTT thinking they bought a Langdon. unfortunately mine isn’t red dot ready though.

That's just wrong to bash Jake. I have a LTT 92 carry. The way to figure it out if it went through the custom shop it will come with the factory parts that were replaced in the box.

The Wilson Berettas are the same so be careful there as well. I ordered a LTT RDO from LTT and it's definitely worth the upgrade. The trigger is fantastic and the optic cut is nicely done. I have a M9a3 I upgraded with there trigger job in a bag. It helped alot id say its atleast 90% as good as the LTT pistol but it's not quite as nice. On the Italian M9a3 it did require some fitting. The folks at Langdon are top notch. I had an issue with the DA after trigger install and they sent me detailed photos of where to fit the hammer. Enjoy all your videos!
