I don't watch his videos because I'm personally not too interested in video games, but my god, the way he explains everything is so well done. He's super well spoken, fun to listen to and pretty damn charismatic. This was prob my favorite h3 podcast so far. Super interesting, well done guys!

      I'm not a big gamer but often watch totalbiscuit's videos on here as I enjoy hearing his criticism and reasoning behind them. As he often gives his reasons which most critics on here don't do.

    • @johnhernandez3414
      @johnhernandez3414 6 лет назад +7

      TotalBiscuit is great when it comes to talking about video games and the industry surrounding it, however there were a few topics that TotalBiscuit handled poorly, kinda like Jim Sterling, which I would definitely say is worth checking out his content as well. Both are great when it comes to the discussion of games and the gaming industry, and should definitely try and stick with those topics on their main channels, they should look at making a separate channel for certain topics since their main audience is for games and gaming coverage.

    • @nickball4071
      @nickball4071 6 лет назад +2

      John Hernandez funny you say to check out Jim sterling, he is the only other critic that I respect on video games and the industry because he has integrity as does TB and won't bow to popular belief.

    • @TheSweetSpirit
      @TheSweetSpirit 6 лет назад +8

      If you watch a lot of TB's videos, you can tell he puts a *lot* of thought into what he says and the actions he takes in his career in regards to consumer advocacy and respecting the fanbase that has helped his career succeed. He *usually* does this.
      Like John Hernandez says he's had some (sometimes pretty bad) fuck ups, but so does any human being and it's rare and few between. I like his content a lot.

    I feel like what Total Biscuit was saying towards the end about cancer was really inspiring and can be used to encourage other people in other areas such as depression. As some one who has attempted suicide before one thing that helped me get through it although the depression is chronic it will never go away even if I have a really good day. But my friend at the time who later died from cancer told a very similar speech and to this day I have that text she sent me I typed it out and it is in a frame next to my bed so that I remember every morning what I am still living for. I encourage anyone with a mental or physical illness to do the same if anyone you know personally or a character you look up to has said something that really touched you make sure you remember it at all times it really does help. Papa Bless :)

    I'm a little late to the news, but I'm gonna say it anyways because the man was worth it.
    It's fair to say John set the bar for what a video game critic should be.
    Principled.
    He didn't bend because it'd be easier, he didn't retract his honest opinions, and he didn't just take money to do stuff he didn't believe in.
    He stood by his word and he didn't go down without a fight.
    Sleep well John.

  • @wtfuchattin

    Honestly, regardless of what you think of his content or political beliefs, the man is a ledge. I've stopped watching TB for a while now but the way he spoke about his actual battle with cancer was heroic. The man deserves a huge amount of praise for both his bollocks and the selflessness of the fight.
    He'll never see this but honestly, hats off to you, TB. You probably won't like this but you're actually a hero. Fuck cancer.

      Tim pretty much the same tbh. I’ve generally not got time for games anymore and series like ‘WTF is’ aren’t made as much anymore so I’ve just moved on, mate. Nothing personal or any petty shit like his personal views. It’s just not me anymore, sadly. TB, nine times out of ten, is the one I’ll search for if I want a review of a game though.

    • @temepeku

      I kinda stopped watching his content regularily.
      Also some of the past... poor handling of situations and virtue signaling made me facepalm.. But i mean.. apparently anyone saying otherwise is a troll. So..
      hello, this bridge has a toll of 2 internet points!
      Nah, seriously though i don't hold anything against TB.
      He's still on the side of the consumer when it comes to gaming.
      And whoever said i need to politically agree with everyone i follow?

Followed TBs stuff since early wow when he was in wowradio,at least I think it was called that. It's really sad that I won't be able to watch anything new from him after being used to hearing his voice pretty much daily for over a decade. I still rewatch his stuff daily as background noise while gaming etc and I don't know if I can even stop doing that at this point.

    Miss you TB... I thought you over reacted at the trap thing .but now I think it was an intentional over react as a last act to show your friend you cared... And that I understand. Idk what's beyond but whatever it is if there is anything ,I hope you are in the good one. I'm sure they have amazing fps and fov sliders there... And if there's nothing I hope your atoms spread to others and make the world a little more awesome. You set my standard for how I let companies treat me and taught me to vote with my wallet. Thank you John...you made this world a better place than what you found it as.all I wanted to do was cry when I heard but me and my friends decided to sit around ,talk about how awesome you are and take a few shots in your honor. You always said you didn't want to emotionally manipulate us fans so I gave you the most respectful send off I could...you are missed and until my last breath you'll be remembered. Goodbye TB you 4x playing nerd dipped in weeb sauce.
