Man, I really want a physical copy of Satan's Soldier - it was my first Tom Scioli comic and really left an impression on me
I read the first issue of this online and it was a revelation. In my mind this is an “impression” of a superhero comic. It suggests all the same familiar tropes and imagery, but only on the surface. The narrative is fuzzy, and the concepts are strange and perverted. My fav comic by Tom. A masterpiece of the medium.

Thank you so much for showing this. I’ve always wanted to track this series down but could never find any copies online. I’ve gotta join the Kayfaber majority that wants reprints of these minis or a collected edition released on paper. I still have never read a digital comic but this is the closest I’ve ever been to actually considering doing it.

Very excited about this. Tom is incredibly thoughtful, insanely creative dude. And his drawing style is one of a kind.
This book blew my damn mind when it first dropped. Not just the whacked out story but the more brutal art style. I loved it; it reminded me of the drawing-with-pen-in-fist Frank Miller DKSA style that I absolutely went bonkers over (practically alone😂). Satan's Soldier was my kinda outlaw comic!!⚡💀⚡
