My original PS4 from 2013 had super loud fan so I bought a new PS4 in 2016 that I still have, works well and no sound, however my PS4pro that I got shortly after has been terrible over the years, First the disc drive stopped functioning correctly, it would make weird sounds and not read discs at times.. So I let it in for expensive repair, they fucked up a lot of screws, I know this because shortly after this the fan started to become a jet engine. I had to open the system and put new thermalpaste in, fixed that! Now in 2023 the disc drive starts to give me the same issues I had before! Great, glad I have my PS5 it works no issues since launch.
@Milky - Hazard DVD every ps4 has a loud jet fan noise lol why I got rid my ps4 cuz of the loudness, I got a ps5 for couple months now, no issues at all plus my ps4 kept on freezing also

Ps5 is soo expensive in my country. Almost half a million bucks in our local currency😂 Well, it's mainly due to the terrible exchange rate. God forbid. I'd rather hold on to my ps4 slim and wait another few years and probably get a used one.

I have an Xbox Series X and One X. I haven't owned a PlayStation since PS2. I bought a PS4 Pro a few weeks ago, and while it has no ray tracing, which is extremely unfortunate, I think it is still worth it in 2023. While i love the PS4 Pro as well, the console really does sound like a jet engine; its so loud. Feel like i should be looking for my luggage hearing that thing. Anyway, I'm likely to wait another year or so before I invest into a PS5.
Some ps4 user had used picture in picture mode then switched to the ps4 output which was doing something like 640i res then killing the TV feed so the system didn't over heat cause it was just producing a sub hd picture.
I got one of the first original ‘chunky’ PS4’s off of the production line back in 2013 and to this day it still works like day one. Never had the jet engine noise, I can’t even hear the fan when the PS4 is the only thing turned on in an empty room. Only ever had to replace the controller, clean dust away from the air vents and clean the lens once in a while. No need to rush out and get a PS5 just yet.
@@Denniz69 dip a cotton bud in methylated spirits and gently rub the lens. The cotton bud will lift the dirt and the methylated spirits will evaporate leaving no trace.
I’d still recommend a PS5 over the 4. Framerates, load times, and dynamic res are noticeable improvements. Even online play is better since the you can use the PS5 Wi-Fi 6 on PS4 games. Less interference than a 4 or a pro
i switched my original ps4 with a ps4 pro when it was released , upgraded the HDD with a SSD drive a couple years ago , haven't seen a need for a ps5 yet honestly
Your good for a long time. The SSD is well worth it. I played the new Horizon Zero Dawn West on a normal ps4 and it played and looked good at 1080p The ps4 Pro plays it at 1800p I think.
Im still running my PS4 Slim, only upgrade was a 2TB Internal HDD. GT7, RDR2, Sniper Elite Series, Metal Gear Solid 5, Snowrunner etc. Whats not too love about epic games such as these examples. Just run a simple box fan to assist with cooling PS4, keep it running smooth & happy for years by doing this.🎮🕹😊 I wont upgrade to a PS5 anytime soon, untill maybe a PS5 Slim or a PS5 Pro becomes available & "on sale".
I had a ps4 back in the day. Og black version, now I have a white phat model and as long as you clean your console, apply new thermal paste, and switch your hdd for a quiet ssd, you won’t even notice any noise or excessive heat.
PS4 Pro is amazing,but after you try to play on PS5 you forget about it. Graphics is much better,frame rates higher and super smooth,you get raytracing,and also super fast loading times,it's a night and day for every console player. PS5 is pretty expensive but more then worth it.
There are 3,454 used Ps4 cd games out there to buy cheap that will keep people busy. I have over 50 ps4 cd games so I call my ps5 my *Ps4 ULTRA SUPER PRO Ti* Many ps4 cd games get the free ps5 resolution and fps update from online Sony stores. Even on a ps4 game the Ps5 has much faster load times and will never drop out of lock 30 fps like a ps4 can sometimes on intense games .
The PS3 was and is still better than both of them. I was constantly anticipating the next PS3 game, CONSTANTLY! The PS4 that lessened a whole lot, there was Uncharted 4, The Last of Us Part II, Ghost of Tsushima, and The Order 1886. Didn't give a rats about GTA V (though I was interested in GTA IV, which is mind boggling), Metal Gear Solid V was trash compared to MGS4, and on PS5, there's just never been anything I was dying to play and with digital taking over (though we honestly thought physical media was gonna die out a long time ago, it's lived on longer than we ever imagined) but it looks like it's about to go entirely and that's the day I call it quits and really start chipping away at my backlog. I have digital copies of games for ease of use, but I have sealed physical copies as well. Digitals not as sureproof as one might think, I would know, but having a physical disc, as long as you're taking care of that sucker, you're good forever. But, yeah, PS3 just kept something new and interesting coming all the time. PS4? Somehow we had the world's most powerful console to play a bunch of games that looked like you were playing them on the SEGA Saturn, so why aren't they still manufacturing SEGA Saturn's then? And to that effect, why isn't there a company that still manufacters CRTs, there's still demand for them if you wanna play original NES, Genesis, whatever, you need a CRT so, why isn't Sony still making CRTs? I miss the days of being excited for games, today..... It's like okay, whatever.
I don't know why most are saying the ps4 is sound like a jet engine..i never had this problem on my ps4 slim.even on my original ps4....or maybe because i used to had ps3 which is noisier than any of my ps4..
Well, for long seesions of gaming my old original PS4 did ramp up it's fan to the absolute maximum. In my experience the Slim is super quiet when not gaming. But after around 30 mins of gaming my PS4 Slim get relatively loud, however not as loud as the original PS4.
I had the ps4 pro since 2017 and I have never had any problem at all with it I absolutely love it and it's still going strong 😊 so there's no need for me to get a ps5 at all because I am still satisfied with my ps4 pro😊
I had the PS4 first edition, the one the came in 2012 and it runs very well, also I had 50 horror games on PS4, PlayStation 4 has the best horror game library of all times, PS5 not gonna beat that, horror games are the best genre and PS4 had thousands of horror games
You forgot that fat (original) has 3 revisions and the ones 'CUH-12**A/B' has matte finish as well + they are super quite, I would say not louder than slim ones.
Yeah, I have a PS4 I bought on black Friday (November 2015) with the matte finish and physical power and eject buttons. Mine is a CUH-1216A model and it's fairly quiet. 99% of reviews forget about it and act like every "fat PS4" is the launch model with the glossy HDD cover and touch buttons.
I have my ps4 slim since 2016 and it still works pretty decent maybe it's overheating abit but it's still quiet but sadly im upgrading in a few days to the ps5 but this game console has made my childhood alot better i thank you sony for making my childhood alot better 🙏
I have a original PS4 from November 2014 launch. I think it is funny people claim PS4 PRO and PS5 are better when most games are frame rate locked at 30fps like Final Fantacy 7 remake, Resident Evil, etc. And games do run at 60fps on the original PS4 like Grand Turismo 7 and most indi games run 1080p 60fps on all PS4s. Only about 20% games run faster on the newer consoles like Dead Island 2. PS3 and PS4 also has 3D Bluray player for 3D games and movies unlike PS5.
i managed to get a ps4 slim from my neighbors next door for $200 flat and i ended up getting a 55 inch plasma screen traded my 55 inch tv to my mom for her 43 inch 4K TCL Roku TV then just the day before yesterday i ordered a star wars battlefront II limited edition PS4 Pro for a dollar more than what i paid for the slim i bought off my neighbors (so 201$ for the limited edition Pro and $200 for the Slim) so in 2023 i’ve spent a total of $401 and now have two PS4 consoles

I love the PS4 just hope it lasts for a couple years. I want to eventually upgrade to a PS5 but I'm worried about the overheating issue limiting play time to 4 hours then the console being shut down. But beside that issue the interface looks incredible and last of us part 2 with performance boost sounds like music to my ears
If you got a ps4 and can’t get a ps5 or series x get a series s it’s next gen so support and new games will be on it, it’s 1440p but can run 4K, run multiple games at 120fps, good airflow, quiet, small, and for around 250-300 only issue is that it has 500 gb but you can buy a seagate ssd for it for more storage and they are releasing a 1 tb version for 350. But get whatever you want 🤷♂️
I'd think picking up a cheap PS4 Pro is a steal if you're not ready to upgrade to PS5.. i have that and XBox Series S and feel no need for anything more just now as it covers all the bases
I have a Pro and 118 games for it, alongside a few PS2 Classics like the GTA Trilogy (before it was delisted) and the Jak & Daxter games. With just a few exceptions, I can find almost every game to suit my tastes and find all my favorite franchises on this machine, the last time that happened, was with the PS2. The only stuff really missing that I'd like to see is fun sports games like the SSX series but no console is perfect, I never even expected to meet so many of my demands back when I originally bought it, especially when the PS3 was kind of disappointing to me. The PS5 is looking like another disappointment, nothing really interesting on it yet with perhaps the exception of Demon's Souls and Ratchet Clank. I don't like movie games so FF16 is a no from me.
I had my original PS4 since spring of 2015, it’s still fully functional as well, but the antilog controllers has it’s issues over the years on the controllers, it’s better to buy freshly brand new controller. I’m still keep playing PS4 till they stop making PS4 games.
Yes it's totally worth it. I bought my PS4 slim in 2018. I replaced the hard drive with a SSD in it. They announced the PS5 slim model now. It'll have 1TB. So I will be buying that when it comes out next year probably
I agree. I got a NEW one for $200 and I value longevity at this point as the PS5 is rather too much $ for my use case. Gaming is not a priority for me and I don’t want an expensive hobby. PS4 games are available for cheap and SSD installation can be done for cheap too if I ever wanted to. $500 item collecting dust is NOT a good thing to have.
Same. I bought my ps4 slim for £130 in 2020 to replace my original Ps4 and like you put in an SSD. You can hardly hear it and it runs like a dream. Having a large backlog of PS4 games this made more sense for me than getting a PS5. I also bought an Xbox Series S for £150 (my first Xbox) as I only have a 1080p Benq monitor and I love it. I feel the time will be right next year to buy a PS5 as there will be more games to fully take advantage of the hardware, but I will keep my Series S because of its portability.
I got a PS4 Pro late in life and upgraded the HDD to 2TB with almost 40 games and still going. Will upgrade to the PS5 when it gets a slim or pro version.
It runs Hogwarts legacy just fine and has a huge library of proven games at a decent price especially used so for me it's absolutely worth it. Also where I live ps5 costs 850 dollars or more.

@@suski_dusk as far as Hogwarts is concerned I can only speak for the pro because that's what I have and it runs it just fine. I also checked out some reviews before I got the game and from what I could see it looks like the slim runs the game good enough as well. If it's a choice between slim and pro, I'd still go pro if u don't mind paying a bit extra because it does run newer games better than the slim.
I bought mine 2023 February I was saving since 2021 to get it, and I'm glad I finally bought mine. Now I'm saving up for the ps5 Hopefully I get it this year
To be honest i myself have the og ps4 since 2017 it still rocks the last of us part 2 and rdr2 at 60 fps no problem and to be honest i find the graphics quality amazing for a console that is a decade old i wouldn't recommend you buy it not because of the performance but for the lifespan
I got myself a ps5 today, not because i couldnt handle the ps4 pro, but because it broke. it got the blue light of death and i sent it to the repair shop but every time I called them they would make random excuses on why it cant get picked up, so after about 8 months of not having a playstation, i finally got money from chrism which is a religious event where you take in the holy spirit and also become rich. so today when i was at my dads place i asked if we could go to the store so i can buy something and he said yes so we went and when i told him im gonna buy the ps5 he tried talking me out of it but then he accepted it and i bought it including a 60 euro wallet increase(since sony doesnt make gift cards anymore apparently) and when i got home i noticed i still had my psplus until the 16th of june for some reason even though it was supposed to expire by january, and picked up A BUNCH of psplus games that were for some reason psplus free in the store and played some of them. The ps5 is amazing and it's like a modern pc in a console, also it's very satisfying hearing the sound of nothingness when playing a high quality game. So i'm kinda glad my ps4 pro broke down even though its really weird to say that. The ps4 is still very amazing but that loud noise of a plane taking off can get pretty annoying, and embarrassing when your friends come over

What about TV? I am currently having ps4 slim and 1080p 60hz SAMSUNG LED TV. I want to buy PS5 but one thing that is worrying me is my TV. How it feels to play PS5 on 1080p 60hz TV? Will I get that wow moment, will games like Elden Ring, RDR2, Uncharted 4, LOU 2 look absolutely stunning etc and also what my FPS will be? Can I be assured to have 60 fps and get gorgeous gaming experience? 4k TV is unfortunately not in my budget range now so please can you answer me. Ideally the guys who are having same setup, PS5 + 1080p 60hz TV😢???
Even if you have a 1080p 60Hz TV, you can still enjoy the PS5's faster load times, improved graphics, hitting that 60 FPS mark more often, and exclusive games. Remember, the PS5 also has a feature called 'supersampling' which can make games look better even on a 1080p TV. So, while you might not be able to take full advantage of all the PS5's features with a 1080p 60Hz TV, it can still provide a significant upgrade from the PS4, although it's quite expensive. Hope this helps!
With Fortnite the PS4 Pro gains an advantage as I use my Cronus Zen on it. The PS5 performs better because it has less lag even on 60 fps mode (and absolutely no frame drops!).
Sold my PS4 Pro for the PS5. 5 is just better at this point. No reason to buy a PS4 when the PS5 plays all PS4 games with better load times and frame rares.
I agree just worried about how reliable the ps5 is I have seen lots of people having issues with the system over heating and only playing games for 4 hours max before turning off
I still have the ps4 slim but I did get the ps5 finally when they had it in stock at walmart. I use it as my main console right now and honestly I could just use that for gaming and not need a gaming pc.
I loved my PS4, but I don’t think it’s worth buying anymore considering the Xbox Series S is only $300 and is more than 3x as powerful as it. For those on a budget, go with that. If you’re not on a budget, just go all in and get a PS5 or Series X. If you’re looking in the used market, I’d still recommend the One X or PS4 Pro over the base PS4. They can usually be found for $200-250 and are much more capable than the base systems.

I’m giving mine 2 more years to play some games I didn’t get around to mostly single player games but I’m always playing TITAN FALL 2 like every day for the last 4 years religiously. The only reason I will get a PS5 is when TiTAN FALL 3 ever comes out and or when I’m done playing these games I will then retire my PS4 for gaming off line only
Honestly going from 3 to 4 didnt feel like an upgrade especially with the glitches and network trouble with the ps4. I mean how many times did you get the NAT error on party chat lmao but I felt like I actually did upgrade with the ps5. The instant loading times is still surreal. I remember taking clash of clans breaks and clash royale to wait for a game to boot up 😂
Well, that's a heck of a good price cause, on all the listing i couldn't manage to find a full package for less than 180 bucks, and if u want the white version there's an extra 30 to 40 bucks you have to spend i remember buying a Pro model for almost 350 bucks new back in 2 years ago
Ceanse I bought my PS4 slim I am happy with it. The only complaint is that has 500 instead of 1 Tb. And also makes to much noise in some games. Other than that I'm happy with it.
I originally had an Xbox one it was but not to big, at the time. But then I got a ps4 slim then realised how big the Xbox One was even the original PlayStation is smaller then the Xbox one. I highly recommend PlayStations 😊

I found a good Ps4 Pro for only $200 I will most likely be getting that especially because unlike the Ps5 you can use an Xbox/nintendo switch controller on it, It might not seem that cool but for somebody who really doesnt like changing controls/controllers its a W for me anyways, as Ive never gotted a Ps console b4

If you look performance wise, the PS4 has a 1.84 Tflops GPU while Xbox One S clocks in at 1.4 Tflops. It has a weaker GPU and often lower resolution in games. Battlefield 4 runs at 900p on Ps4 and 720p on Xbox and sadly many games runs at lower resolution than on the PS4. It all depends on what games you are going to play but in general, the performance on the One S is lower than PS4.

Nice man i just got one last night since my original launch ps4 from 2013 just died not sure what happened it went i to safe mode and gave a code i think the software update file got corrupted it mightve overheated but doubt it i just bought a new one and figured i might as well before they discontinue ps4 for good. My ps3 slim went 11 years before the laser died but cant complain lol this stuff is common and there a pain to clean and tamper with its better to use ps plus cloud for all saved data.

Try changing the thermal paste and putting it on top of the tv stand instead of the shelves and you’ll say goodbye to the jet sound.

I’d still recommend a PS5 over the 4. Framerates, load times, and dynamic res are noticeable improvements. Even online play is better since the you can use the PS5 Wi-Fi 6 on PS4 games. Less interference than a 4 or a pro
The only difference is I can get a used ps4 slim for 150 bucks with 4 games, and ps5 in my country is around 700

Im still running my PS4 Slim, only upgrade was a 2TB Internal HDD. GT7, RDR2, Sniper Elite Series, Metal Gear Solid 5, Snowrunner etc. Whats not too love about epic games such as these examples. Just run a simple box fan to assist with cooling PS4, keep it running smooth & happy for years by doing this.🎮🕹😊 I wont upgrade to a PS5 anytime soon, untill maybe a PS5 Slim or a PS5 Pro becomes available & "on sale".

I had a ps4 back in the day. Og black version, now I have a white phat model and as long as you clean your console, apply new thermal paste, and switch your hdd for a quiet ssd, you won’t even notice any noise or excessive heat.

PS4 Pro is amazing,but after you try to play on PS5 you forget about it.
Graphics is much better,frame rates higher and super smooth,you get raytracing,and also super fast loading times,it's a night and day for every console player.

Even on a ps4 game the Ps5 has much faster load times and will never drop out of lock 30 fps like a ps4 can sometimes on intense games .
The PS3 was and is still better than both of them. I was constantly anticipating the next PS3 game, CONSTANTLY! The PS4 that lessened a whole lot, there was Uncharted 4, The Last of Us Part II, Ghost of Tsushima, and The Order 1886. Didn't give a rats about GTA V (though I was interested in GTA IV, which is mind boggling), Metal Gear Solid V was trash compared to MGS4, and on PS5, there's just never been anything I was dying to play and with digital taking over (though we honestly thought physical media was gonna die out a long time ago, it's lived on longer than we ever imagined) but it looks like it's about to go entirely and that's the day I call it quits and really start chipping away at my backlog. I have digital copies of games for ease of use, but I have sealed physical copies as well. Digitals not as sureproof as one might think, I would know, but having a physical disc, as long as you're taking care of that sucker, you're good forever. But, yeah, PS3 just kept something new and interesting coming all the time. PS4? Somehow we had the world's most powerful console to play a bunch of games that looked like you were playing them on the SEGA Saturn, so why aren't they still manufacturing SEGA Saturn's then? And to that effect, why isn't there a company that still manufacters CRTs, there's still demand for them if you wanna play original NES, Genesis, whatever, you need a CRT so, why isn't Sony still making CRTs? I miss the days of being excited for games, today..... It's like okay, whatever.

I don't know why most are saying the ps4 is sound like a jet engine..i never had this problem on my ps4 slim.even on my original ps4....or maybe because i used to had ps3 which is noisier than any of my ps4..
Well, for long seesions of gaming my old original PS4 did ramp up it's fan to the absolute maximum. In my experience the Slim is super quiet when not gaming. But after around 30 mins of gaming my PS4 Slim get relatively loud, however not as loud as the original PS4.

ps3 had a lot of problems with the cooling, the fan, it was loud and vulnerable to many complications.

I had the PS4 first edition, the one the came in 2012 and it runs very well, also I had 50 horror games on PS4, PlayStation 4 has the best horror game library of all times, PS5 not gonna beat that, horror games are the best genre and PS4 had thousands of horror games
You forgot that fat (original) has 3 revisions and the ones 'CUH-12**A/B' has matte finish as well + they are super quite, I would say not louder than slim ones.
They will all become loud as time goes on due to the degrading thermal paste.
Yeah, I have a PS4 I bought on black Friday (November 2015) with the matte finish and physical power and eject buttons. Mine is a CUH-1216A model and it's fairly quiet. 99% of reviews forget about it and act like every "fat PS4" is the launch model with the glossy HDD cover and touch buttons.
as far as i'm concerned, there isn't any next gen games that i have to have a ps5 for.
if you have a PS4 you are not in a rush to upgrade still imo. But it is not worth it getting one unless it is a great price

I have a original PS4 from November 2014 launch. I think it is funny people claim PS4 PRO and PS5 are better when most games are frame rate locked at 30fps like Final Fantacy 7 remake, Resident Evil, etc. And games do run at 60fps on the original PS4 like Grand Turismo 7 and most indi games run 1080p 60fps on all PS4s. Only about 20% games run faster on the newer consoles like Dead Island 2. PS3 and PS4 also has 3D Bluray player for 3D games and movies unlike PS5.

i managed to get a ps4 slim from my neighbors next door for $200 flat and i ended up getting a 55 inch plasma screen traded my 55 inch tv to my mom for her 43 inch 4K TCL Roku TV then just the day before yesterday i ordered a star wars battlefront II limited edition PS4 Pro for a dollar more than what i paid for the slim i bought off my neighbors (so 201$ for the limited edition Pro and $200 for the Slim) so in 2023 i’ve spent a total of $401 and now have two PS4 consoles

If you got a ps4 and can’t get a ps5 or series x get a series s it’s next gen so support and new games will be on it, it’s 1440p but can run 4K, run multiple games at 120fps, good airflow, quiet, small, and for around 250-300 only issue is that it has 500 gb but you can buy a seagate ssd for it for more storage and they are releasing a 1 tb version for 350. But get whatever you want 🤷♂️
I'd think picking up a cheap PS4 Pro is a steal if you're not ready to upgrade to PS5.. i have that and XBox Series S and feel no need for anything more just now as it covers all the bases
I have a Pro and 118 games for it, alongside a few PS2 Classics like the GTA Trilogy (before it was delisted) and the Jak & Daxter games.
With just a few exceptions, I can find almost every game to suit my tastes and find all my favorite franchises on this machine, the last time that happened, was with the PS2. The only stuff really missing that I'd like to see is fun sports games like the SSX series but no console is perfect, I never even expected to meet so many of my demands back when I originally bought it, especially when the PS3 was kind of disappointing to me. The PS5 is looking like another disappointment, nothing really interesting on it yet with perhaps the exception of Demon's Souls and Ratchet Clank. I don't like movie games so FF16 is a no from me.

I had my original PS4 since spring of 2015, it’s still fully functional as well, but the antilog controllers has it’s issues over the years on the controllers, it’s better to buy freshly brand new controller. I’m still keep playing PS4 till they stop making PS4 games.
Yes it's totally worth it. I bought my PS4 slim in 2018. I replaced the hard drive with a SSD in it. They announced the PS5 slim model now. It'll have 1TB. So I will be buying that when it comes out next year probably

Gaming is not a priority for me and I don’t want an expensive hobby. PS4 games are available for cheap and SSD installation can be done for cheap too if I ever wanted to. $500 item collecting dust is NOT a good thing to have.

Same. I bought my ps4 slim for £130 in 2020 to replace my original Ps4 and like you put in an SSD. You can hardly hear it and it runs like a dream. Having a large backlog of PS4 games this made more sense for me than getting a PS5. I also bought an Xbox Series S for £150 (my first Xbox) as I only have a 1080p Benq monitor and I love it.
I feel the time will be right next year to buy a PS5 as there will be more games to fully take advantage of the hardware, but I will keep my Series S because of its portability.
I got a PS4 Pro late in life and upgraded the HDD to 2TB with almost 40 games and still going. Will upgrade to the PS5 when it gets a slim or pro version.
It runs Hogwarts legacy just fine and has a huge library of proven games at a decent price especially used so for me it's absolutely worth it. Also where I live ps5 costs 850 dollars or more.

@@suski_dusk as far as Hogwarts is concerned I can only speak for the pro because that's what I have and it runs it just fine. I also checked out some reviews before I got the game and from what I could see it looks like the slim runs the game good enough as well. If it's a choice between slim and pro, I'd still go pro if u don't mind paying a bit extra because it does run newer games better than the slim.

I got myself a ps5 today, not because i couldnt handle the ps4 pro, but because it broke. it got the blue light of death and i sent it to the repair shop but every time I called them they would make random excuses on why it cant get picked up, so after about 8 months of not having a playstation, i finally got money from chrism which is a religious event where you take in the holy spirit and also become rich. so today when i was at my dads place i asked if we could go to the store so i can buy something and he said yes so we went and when i told him im gonna buy the ps5 he tried talking me out of it but then he accepted it and i bought it including a 60 euro wallet increase(since sony doesnt make gift cards anymore apparently) and when i got home i noticed i still had my psplus until the 16th of june for some reason even though it was supposed to expire by january, and picked up A BUNCH of psplus games that were for some reason psplus free in the store and played some of them. The ps5 is amazing and it's like a modern pc in a console, also it's very satisfying hearing the sound of nothingness when playing a high quality game. So i'm kinda glad my ps4 pro broke down even though its really weird to say that. The ps4 is still very amazing but that loud noise of a plane taking off can get pretty annoying, and embarrassing when your friends come over

What about TV? I am currently having ps4 slim and 1080p 60hz SAMSUNG LED TV. I want to buy PS5 but one thing that is worrying me is my TV. How it feels to play PS5 on 1080p 60hz TV? Will I get that wow moment, will games like Elden Ring, RDR2, Uncharted 4, LOU 2 look absolutely stunning etc and also what my FPS will be? Can I be assured to have 60 fps and get gorgeous gaming experience? 4k TV is unfortunately not in my budget range now so please can you answer me. Ideally the guys who are having same setup, PS5 + 1080p 60hz TV😢???
Even if you have a 1080p 60Hz TV, you can still enjoy the PS5's faster load times, improved graphics, hitting that 60 FPS mark more often, and exclusive games. Remember, the PS5 also has a feature called 'supersampling' which can make games look better even on a 1080p TV. So, while you might not be able to take full advantage of all the PS5's features with a 1080p 60Hz TV, it can still provide a significant upgrade from the PS4, although it's quite expensive. With Fortnite the PS4 Pro gains an advantage as I use my Cronus Zen on it. The PS5 performs better because it has less lag even on 60 fps mode (and absolutely no frame drops!).

I loved my PS4, but I don’t think it’s worth buying anymore considering the Xbox Series S is only $300 and is more than 3x as powerful as it. For those on a budget, go with that. If you’re not on a budget, just go all in and get a PS5 or Series X. If you’re looking in the used market, I’d still recommend the One X or PS4 Pro over the base PS4. They can usually be found for $200-250 and are much more capable than the base systems.

I’m giving mine 2 more years to play some games I didn’t get around to mostly single player games but I’m always playing TITAN FALL 2 like every day for the last 4 years religiously.

Honestly going from 3 to 4 didnt feel like an upgrade especially with the glitches and network trouble with the ps4. I mean how many times did you get the NAT error on party chat lmao but I felt like I actually did upgrade with the ps5. The instant loading times is still surreal. I remember taking clash of clans breaks and clash royale to wait for a game to boot up 😂

Ceanse I bought my PS4 slim I am happy with it. The only complaint is that has 500 instead of 1 Tb. And also makes to much noise in some games. Other than that I'm happy with it.
I originally had an Xbox one it was but not to big, at the time. But then I got a ps4 slim then realised how big the Xbox One was even the original PlayStation is smaller then the Xbox one. I highly recommend PlayStations 😊

If you look performance wise, the PS4 has a 1.84 Tflops GPU while Xbox One S clocks in at 1.4 Tflops. It has a weaker GPU and often lower resolution in games. Battlefield 4 runs at 900p on Ps4 and 720p on Xbox and sadly many games runs at lower resolution than on the PS4. It all depends on what games you are going to play but in general, the performance on the One S is lower than PS4.

Nice man i just got one last night since my original launch ps4 from 2013 just died not sure what happened it went i to safe mode and gave a code i think the software update file got corrupted it mightve overheated but doubt it i just bought a new one and figured i might as well before they discontinue ps4 for good. My ps3 slim went 11 years before the laser died but cant complain lol this stuff is common and there a pain to clean and tamper with its better to use ps plus cloud for all saved data.
