Thanks for posting this. It helped a lot! Just finished tuning my R1250GSA. I sent the file to Bren on Friday at 5pm which is what time they close. They sent me the tune this morning at 10am on a holiday weekend! I took the bike out for a rip and finished out 2023 enjoying my bike. 👍
My brother runs bt tuner in his 2022 they were backorder when I went to get mine for my 2022, so I went with slr. we have identical bikes, the exact same mods except the tunes. we weigh within 5lbs of each other, every time we race, weather from a dig or a 1st, 2nd or 3rd gear roll start my bike jumps out on his and pulls from him and wins by 3-5 bikes even when we swap bikes. And slr's customer service has been top notch! I couldn't get the tunes on the flasher, i called the tuner and he immediately did a remote screen share and downloaded it all for me.
@@natecote1971 I found octane booster pellets that are easily carried. 1 pill brings my 7 gallon BMW high enough. BT SLR did my ZH2 / 22 BUSA / 22 Triump ST 1200 RR and the Tuono V4 1100 was just ordered. These flashers are going to break me!
I have been debating SLR and or Brent I don't roll race just want the best performance out of these bikes and want to pay top dollar for the best. Did SLR raise your rev limiter? i am thinking of asking him not to do that just in case.. Thanks

You have to blame the responsible people for that in the US...because in Europe, especially in Germany, where the bike comes from, there is no restrictions at all. It comes open with the full power of the bike from the factory when you buy it. But now you can finally enjoy the bike how it's supposed to be. Have fun and ride safe.
You are NOT allowed to use the handheld on any other bike besides your own! If you however buy a new bike, you can use it on your new bike. No problem on the code man glad you can put it to use! You’d be helping me out:)

Servo buddy and the tune is absolutely necessary. With a full exhaust you will need to do a servo motor delete, without the servo buddy you will have a check engine light on all the time. Without a tune the air fuel ratio on the bike will be way off and run way to lean. Hope this helps!
Are all your quickshifts up extremely jerky with the bren tune? I got a stage 2 and a full akra exhaust installed on mine, and every upshift throws me back, no matter what gear Im in or what rpm Im at, or how little throttle input Im giving the bike. Its like the ecu is blipping the throttle way too much during quickshifts. The downshifts are super smooth the upshifts are ridiculous, almost unbearable, especially when just riding through town. Just wondering if there is an issue with my tune, or if thats standard.
Race mode is the mode I had the bike in on this video, race mode has wheelie control turned on by default and traction control turned on etc. It let’s me full pin it without having to worry about wheelies, and if it does it’s maybe a foot off the ground then will come right back down after on its own. However with all the electronics turned off and if you want to do a good pull, you roll on the throttle until you’re at full throttle. If you decide to crack it open going 40mph in second/first gear with no wheelie control or anything on. You will flip it. Hope this helps!
I got my 2023 ready with full akrapovic titanium full exhaust and the short Akrapovic pipe, so quick question after I install the brentune do I still have to take it to the Dyno?

@@josephrivera5252 You have to buy the stage 1 handheld so you can get the device, then you can order the stage 2 tune right away! They will just send you the stage 2 file instead of stage 1 if that makes sense :) you are going to love it unrestricted I promise it’s a brand new bike!
@@s1kdk The pair valve sits on top of the heads and sucks extra air into the exhaust stroke of the piston to burn off any excess fuel and other "harmful" pollutants causing all kinds of shotgun blasts between shifts and obnoxious crackling on deceleration. Can't really hear it with the cat on but is gnarly without the cat.

Yeah you need the tune with the exhaust otherwise the air fuel ratio is all fucked up, I also have a servo buddy on mine to open up the exhaust even more.

If I understand correctly, hypothetically let’s say you order a stage 1 kit from BT MOTO. And you decide you want to go with the stage 2 a few months later. They will send you a new stage 2 file, that you can then import into your mygenius that you’ve had from before and tune it that way:) hope this helps. If it didn’t ask again:)
Yes tune it when the charger is on, no it won’t hurt the bike when the ignition is off, you’re supposed to put a trickle charger on it all during the winter season.

Did you get the 91 octane map? Does he have the 93?

Try a race pro mode. You could configure it to be like road mode suspension but with full power and wheelie control. It’s fun to play around with.

Depends on your dealership. I’ve heard mixed opinions. Call and ask them. Some dealerships will pretend it’s not there. Some will fuck you.
