This was 2018 and they have gotten better than this....think about that for a second!!! They are so ready for the Wacken Main Stage. My friend was at Wacken (goes every year, buys his tickets the day after the festival closes for next year), the crowd was reserved when they were introduced but man they drove the crowd nuts before they were through and really attached a large crowd for the stage they were on and definitely garnered a lot of new fans this day. If you are a metal-head this it the one band that plays everything great and LIVE they are flawless and totally perfect to experience. The energy this band puts out is totally stunning to watch and YES THEY DOMINATE.

Lovebites is a truly unique band: their level of excellence is unmatched and revolutionary in the world of metal. Yes, there are metal bands that are technical , fast, musically gifted, but what these girls bring to the metal world is incredible. They play flawlessly, they compose brilliantly, they perform ideally, smiling and being fierce and beautiful without losing their femininity in the process and without relying on a gimmick. They are the real deal and the bright future of Heavy Metal.
This was the year they won Metal Hammer magazine's Golden Gods Best New Band. They're now fully established and respected. I hope they get to play the Main Stage someday soon. 🤘💜🐺
Maybe when Japan actually promote outside Japan. Its both sad and frustrating how little they do to reach other markets. They have made FOUR great live discs and ONLY for Japan. And if you import, you will see its not even subtitled bonus material. They dont give a shit about if anyone but japanese people understand it. It is very weird, since they even sing in english. Also they make limited versions of the CDs. Like the three disc Electric Pentagram, with tvo live discs. Of course only for japanese market...I import, but it costs a fortune
@@morganolsson1993 unfortunately you are right: the mindset of the music industry in Japan is hindering their efforts to reach overseas audience a lot. I truly think they need to fully outsource their promotion to a western company or make every effort to fully sign to a label like nuclear blast.

Still they are held back somehow. Havent Nuclear Blast released some album? And JPU now. But they are not allowed to release other than basic stuff. Its utterly weird! Band-Maid had a deal with JPU, but the new company Pony Canyon stopped it, so suddenly they are totally off from Europe. Pony Canyon dont want us to buy their stuff???? Its nuts! Band-Maid released the album "World Domination"...yeah sure... Another extremely annoying thing with Japan, are the insane prices! As if they do anything to not sell abroad. Double price...plus shipping and taxes. Can we just beg for Nuclear Blast or Napalm Records...any big european label anyway.

It’s a shame because their product , especially the female led and fronted rock and metal bands there are world class. I hope that soon they will realize that they have stumbled upon a goose making golden eggs and they won’t kill it. They need to take lessons from the Korean music industry on how to market to the west.
